the worst motel I ever checked into

When checking in the staff stopped in the middle of helping a guest to make a call to complete a personal task and took over 10 minutes which resulted in a line of guest out the door. When she finally got to me she proceeded to tell me that they had 38 rooms that checked out that day so they were very busy but in the same sentence gave me a smoking room and said they had no other room available for me with no other option I reluctantly checked in and went to the room was in the room for about maybe 20 minutes before deciding we couldn’t handle the smoke/odor and left I was sure what we were going to do so I went back later in the evening to let them know we were checking out the staff was rude and asked why were checking out early which I think is unprofessional and wasn’t any of her business when I did tell her why she scoffed and told me “well I’m not giving you a refund” to which I explained I still want to check out and left.

The smell of the rooms is horrible. The bathroom looked disgusting. My car got covered in nasty tiny bugs all over after just being parked.

This facility was extremely dirty, the toilet leaked all over the floor from underneath, the sink in the bathroom had a trashcan where the water fell into this was one of the dirtiest facilities I’ve ever seen and the room should’ve never been used for accommodations. Staff were friendly, but the room smelled if it had up in for me being so tired I would’ve asked for a refund and moved on probably one of the worst facilities I have ever stayed at.

That I had reserved a non smoking room and when I got there I got a smoking room with my two children was unable to cancel since everywhere else was booked and that why I had reserved in advance

Cons:

Took 3 different rooms to finally find a usable room. And the 3rd room had a pile of dog poop right in front of the door. Animals are allowed to stay in the rooms apparently.
