Lemon Tree Hotel Shimona Chennai

This was my 2nd stay at this hotel and the hotel is under upgradatiion.This time I was provided a room which was very elegant and had a fresh feel.Also the food spread and the varieties has been improved compared to my last stay .Finally the staffs remains the same helpful,always ready to help to make their guest comfortable and this would be my preferred hotel for all my visit to chennai.

Was there for business trip and it is was a very good experience. Staffs are really welcoming and really attentive right starting from reception, Restaurant and housekeeping . They always carry smile and really come forward to help you. The GM Mr. Chandramouli the interaction with him was lovely and thoughtful. If anyone is travelling on business for short period kindly add this property on your bucket list.

We stayed for two weeks as our son had a cricket camp closely. The hotel, it's amenities, the food, the service, the staff and of course Mr. Mouli who is at the helm of affairs at this Lemontree were truly wonderful, very professional and yet lent a deep layer of personalization. We had a wonderful stay and it was made very home like by Mr. Mouli and his team. We will be back again soon, and are excitedly looking forward to meeting all of them.

We stayed 2 weeks at lemon tree as we had work close by. The rooms were super comfortable and spacious. The care and love with which Mr Mouli the head of the hotel , the reception staff ( vincent & netramani, jyoti &arun) the F&B and housekeeping ( samy) staff and the drivers ( hari and bala ) looked after us with was amazing. Even the guard ( balram) at the gate who helped and greeted us with a smile everyday as early as 5 am in the morning. It was like being at home and someone was there to look after us on our 1st time in Chennai. A lot of logistics had to be organized and everything was done and helped with. Also, loved the morning breakfast and extra crispy dosas, seviyan and coffee. The staff truly went out of their way. We were also really happy to see how lemon tree gave equal opportunity of employment and respect to differently abled people. It's been a pleasure staying here. Will be back again for sure.

Starting right from the security at the gate, everyone welcomes guests with so much kindness and positivity. The front desk team, especially Jyothi and Nethra, were extremely polite, sweet, and always ready to help with a smile 🌸

The kitchen staff, HR staff, housekeeping girls and boys — every single person was so respectful, professional, and caring. Their smiling faces and positive attitude made the stay even more beautiful 😊

Whenever I needed any help, he was always just one call away. No matter how busy things were, he always responded with patience, presence, and genuine care. The way he handles guests with calmness, responsibility, and kindness is truly admirable.

Some people do their job… but some people make others feel comfortable, valued, and cared for — Arun is definitely one among them 🌿
