The breakfast, the room and the staff
Staff was friendly and accommodating
Professional staff
Not enough towels and wash cloths
Room was spacious and nice and cleaning staff was amazing and helpful
Walked in the first morning for breakfast. One staff at the reception and no one else was inside. Considering no staff is in the breakfast area you need to self serve. I wanted an omelette because of limited options. So I helped myself, because once again…no staff is there. So after approx 10 minutes staff walks in and said to me this is not a self service. I apologized and said no one was here, so I helped myself and the reception lady did not communicate anything to me either.
So I sat down to have my breakfast. Considering I apologized for it and the misunderstanding is clear not the matter is finished. A bit later there is suddenly a group of 4 people talking loudly about this incident. I am sitting in 2 meters distance, can clearly hear every word they utter. Mocking me, making fun of me, telling how dumb I could be, that I have no manners. Until my husband walked up to the women and told them to stop gossiping and still they continued. I have been traumatized by this kind of behavior but of course this is not new. I grew up in this country and kind of see this daily behavior, but never expected to became a drama myself. I would advice managers of this facility to train their personal for clientservice and educate staff common courtesy. Second day for breakfast the breakfast area was being guarded by this lady who was gossiping. I did not want any kind of confrontation. So when I walked behind my husband to leave the area, she said bye to my husband and said mensen hebben geen manieren afterwards to mock me again. 3rd day… no breakfast. I had breakfast just across the street. We were treated right. Train your staff, next time it’s a no thank you for me. And just see yourself why business is not running good for you Guys. People pay for the experience!
