Hilton Garden Inn New York - Times Square Central

Our stay at the Hilton Garden Inn Times Square was exceptional. We have stayed at many hotels around the world, including several trips to New York City, and we can honestly say we've never experienced this level of hospitality and genuine customer service.

A very special thank you goes to Ibeth at the front desk. She has been with the hotel for 12 years, including 9 years working as a housekeeper before moving to the front desk, and her experience, humility, and dedication shine through in everything she does.

Our experience with Ibeth actually began before we even arrived in New York. When we called the hotel looking for a place to celebrate my birthday, she was the person who answered the phone. After hearing why we were visiting, she warmly assured me that she would take great care of us. Those weren't just kind word, she truly meant them! When we arrived, Ibeth was the one who welcomed us at check-in, and from that moment until the day we left, she exceeded every expectation.

From the moment we walked through the doors, she made us feel like family, honestly, she made us feel even better than being at home. You can immediately tell she is passionate about her job. She is incredibly humble, a true team player, and treats every guest with genuine kindness and respect.

This was my birthday trip, and she sincerely wanted to make it one we would never forget. She upgraded us to an awesome room and, together with Melissa, surprised us with a bottle of wine, a birthday card, and a beautiful cheese and fruit plate. It was such a thoughtful gesture that truly made my birthday unforgettable.

What impressed us just as much was watching Ibeth interact with other guests. She gave every person the same warmth, patience, professionalism, and heartfelt care that she gave us. Employees like Ibeth are the reason guests return year after year. She represents everything hospitality should be, and we could absolutely see her becoming a hotel manager one day. Hilton is fortunate to have someone with her character, dedication, leadership potential, and genuine heart for serving others. ♥️

We'd also like to recognize Ariel at the front desk, who was always warm, welcoming, and attentive to our every need. No matter how busy the front desk became, she handled multiple guests with ease while remaining friendly, professional, and making everyone feel valued. Her ability to multitask while still providing exceptional customer service was truly impressive.

A special thank you also goes to Melissa and Christopher at the front desk. Christopher has over 20 years in the hospitality industry, and it certainly shows. His professionalism, positive attitude, and willingness to help never went unnoticed. We even learned that he came to work while not feeling his best because of his dedication to both his team and the hotel's guests. That kind of commitment is rare these days and deserves recognition.

We also had the pleasure of meeting Janine from the Front Office and Tyera, the Hotel Director. They both took the time to speak with us and made us feel like valued guests rather than just another room number. It was obvious they genuinely care about both their guests and their staff, and their leadership is reflected throughout the hotel.

A huge thank you to Griselda, who was our waitress on our final evening and also took great care of us during Happy Hour whenever Gustavo wasn't available. She provided superb service every time we saw her. She was polite, attentive, friendly, and clearly passionate about her job.

A very special thank you also goes to Gustavo, who quickly became one of the highlights of our stay. Since we visited Happy Hour almost every day, we had the pleasure of getting to know him, and he consistently made every visit something we looked forward to. Gustavo is incredibly personable, friendly, and has a genuine gift for making guests feel welcome.

What impressed us the most was that despite the countless guests who come through the bar every day, he remembered our favorite drinks every single time without us ever having to remind him. Wife's (Tito & Iced Tea)That may seem like a small detail, but it speaks volumes about the pride he takes in his job and the personal attention he gives each guest.

Whether the bar was busy or quiet, Gustavo always took the time to chat with us, share a laugh, and make us feel like more than just customers. By the end of our stay, it felt like we were visiting a friend rather than simply ordering a drink. Hospitality like that is rare, and Gustavo is a tremendous asset to the Hilton Garden Inn Times Square.

We also thoroughly enjoyed our conversations with Arnel, who was always friendly, welcoming, and an absolute pleasure to talk with. He has an easygoing personality and a genuine warmth that makes everyone feel comfortable. By the end of our stay, I honestly felt like I had known him for much longer than just a few days. People like Arnel have a natural ability to connect with others, and that made every visit to the bar feel more like catching up with friends than simply stopping in for a drink.

Together, Gustavo and Arnel created a fun, relaxing atmosphere that made Happy Hour one of the highlights of each day and something we genuinely looked forward to.

As far as our room, it was spacious, exceptionally clean, and very comfortable. Great view of Times Square. Every morning we enjoyed fresh Starbucks coffee in the lobby, and the daily Happy Hour from 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. with half-price drinks was a fantastic bonus.

One amenity we especially appreciated was the complimentary self-service laundry for hotel guests. That's something you rarely see, and it was incredibly convenient during our stay.

The hotel's location couldn't be better—just steps from Times Square while still being convenient to everything New York City has to offer.

To everyone at the Hilton Garden Inn Times Square, thank you for making my birthday trip one that we'll remember for the rest of our lives! We truly felt welcomed, appreciated, and cared for from the moment we called the hotel until the day we checked out.

We cannot recommend this hotel highly enough. If you're looking for outstanding hospitality, an incredible staff, and a hotel that genuinely cares about its guests, this is the place to stay!

We are already looking forward to returning on our next trip to New York City, but even more than that, we hope to see this same amazing team again. They are the heart and soul of this hotel, and they're the reason our stay became one of the most memorable we've ever experienced.

The location is best it’s near to time square Mike was very helpful to me n room was also very nice…I recommend this hotel who all are travelling to us

Great location, close to every subway imaginable. I have to highlight something about the attention. I was coming off a long day of travel and Ibeth at the reception, she was a ray of sunshine from the first moment. She was incredibly kind and helpful and definitely improved my day with her simple kindness. I value that a lot from the staff. Keep up the great work!

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel. While it’s a simple property in terms of amenities, what truly makes it special is the people.

Michelle, along with the entire front desk team, made every day of my stay feel welcoming. Her kindness, genuine smile, and attention to every little detail turned a good hotel into a great experience. Whether it was offering help, making sure I had water or coffee, or simply greeting me with warmth every time I walked by, she made me feel truly valued as a guest.

After arriving from Newark Airport and the bustling sights and sounds of NYC along with the intense heat we were greeted and welcomed by Joanne, Ariel, Ibeth, & Daisy. Their smiles and attentiveness made our first day in NYC a lot better. Our hotel was centrally located and the accommodations far exceeded our expectations. The bed and the welcome snacks in room were a nice added touch. We didn't even have to ask for housekeeping service as the hotel staff stated on top of refreshing towels and turndown service. Although, we only stayed a weekend it was everything we needed for weekend to catch Jay Z Yankee Stadium Tour Concert. I would recommend this hotel to my family and friends. Thanks to hotel staff for a memorable stay!

This great place is a few steps away from Times Sq and 42nd Street entertainment. From the moment Sam the security guard let you upstairs to the hotel lobby... The experience just keeps getting better. Ibeth helps with extremely professional customer service at the front desk along with Melissa. As I refreshed myself with a complimentary bottle of spring water, Ibeth checked me in and assigned me a terrific room.
She made the whole process effortless and very welcoming.
The room was beautiful and so clean! I'm glad I decided to stay here tonight. This is the highlight of my NYC visit.
As a Diamond member I offer stay at Hilton properties but this one truly stands out. Ibeth took time to explain the layout of the hotel, the amenities and the adjacent grab and go section and also the restaurant attached.
I wish I could stay longer but my flight is coming up. I'm sure I'll be rested for the flight after a good night's sleep in the comfy Hilton Garden inn bed here.
