Pros:

My husband and I loved everything about Bagdale The quaintness of it, the history . The staff where wonderful . We would definetely go back it was spectacular .

Cons:

The parking was tight . Trying to get in and out was difficult .but managed with the help of my husband .

Great location (when we finally found it)
Pros:

The location is perfect, 3 minutes walk to the town centre

Cons:

Missing simple comforts like no cushions on the couch and the pillows are well past the best.
The postcode given for the location was not helpful for finding the location. I tried to contact customer service but that was no use. My wife asked at a local hotel that turned out to be the owner and was able to give us proper directions. I would definitely recommend sending bookers the what3words location for the entrance to the driveway. It would be far easier to locate.

Fabulous stay, booked again for next year

Perfect really we will definitely return
Pros:

Perfect location parking a bonus everything you need we were there for our son’s wedding at sneaton castle it was a few minutes drive away

Just need some shower mats I’m disabled and found it a little slippery

Property did not look anything like photos. Very unclean on arrival. Crumbs and dirt all over floor. Hairs on bedding. Very unclean property. Broken blinds. Dirt, dust and cobwebs all over. Dirty windows. Broken blinds. Very poorly equipped. No hairdryer. 1 toilet roll provided for 3 toilets in property. Bathrooms dirty. Not enough towels provided. Kitchen dirty and poorly equipped. Poor selection of glasses. Outside of building dirty. Constant ringing of buzzer from building next door. Ringing buzzer from 8am onwards constantly. Property uncomfortable and dirty shell. Certainly did not reflect photos at time of booking. Certainly did not reflect good reviews at time of booking. Very poor.

Our stay was relaxed and thoroughly enjoyable. We loved it.
Pros:

We loved the amazing historical character and its beautiful renovation whilst keeping its original features. So Olde Worlde inside with a pretty entrance and courtyard. The king superior suite was very comfortable with lovely little touches. And breakfast was delicious and beautifully cooked. The staff were all friendly and professional and happy to help with anything. We had the most enjoyable stay and highly recommend.

Cons:

Sadly we didn’t see any ghosts :-) but maybe next time as we would definitely revisit.
