Good location
We arrived early for a funeral so had to drop our luggage off, they did not have a luggage room or area we simply had to leave our bags at reception next to the front door. When we finally got into the room later that evening the room smelled of damp, there was hair in the “fresh towels”. There was period blood marks on the sheets. The lights flickered, the window which was on the ground floor and led onto the street did not close properly as well as the curtains do not actually fully fit the windows. One of the beds in the room the curtains are actually in the bed with you which I’m sure are not changed after each visit. The other bed must not have had anyone sleep in it for x amount of time as there was visible dust on the covers from where the bed has been made and left unchanged. Overall the only clean thing was the bathroom, I would not recommend staying here to anyone
The friendliness of the staff and they were quick to put right the safe in my room which wasn't working and they quickly replaced it. Also the window in my room wouldn't shut properly and within 5 minutes they came and fixed it . Hotel is very close to the Oval underground station. Very convenient

Durante il check in ci hanno assegnato una stanza molto grande, con bagno finestrato. Peccato che era sporco.
Ci hanno cambiato tempestivamente la camera, assegnandone una molto più piccola con un bagno appena calpestabile.
The beds were comfortable 🤷♀️
Looked run down and not clean. Depressing frontage said it all. I banged my head as soon as as I entered our room because of a high angled pillar sticking out right by the door and even though they had done the bare minimum (black and yellow tape over the sharp angles) I still hit my head every time I came in to the room.
Staff also barged their way in to our room in the middle of the night, accusing us of disturbing the other customers. Threatened to call the police (for what I don’t understand) and then proceeded to try and squeeze us for £200 fine for the disturbance!!
It was a last minute booking because of a family tragedy and we were treated disgustingly. Don’t bother unless it’s your last and only resort!! Be warned !!
