The Inn at Hastings Park, Relais & Chateaux - Boston

I was hoping it would be a very nice place from the pictures I saw online. I was not at all disappointed, everything was wonderful, the room was so beautiful, very clean and the linens were so comfy. The area around the Inn is lovely, very walkable, with plenty of shopping and restaurants.

Amazing relaxing oasis.

I wasn’t greeted with their usual hospitality, and there were some issues for the first part of my stay. It got better after the first 24 hours, but I am no longer enthralled with the hotel.

Beautiful place. But floor in the bathroom was a little sticky. Yuck. When I checked in, I was shown a beautiful dining room where breakfast would be served. But then, instead, it was served in a much more shabby room. Also, the included breakfast was quite skimpy. Extra charge for a real breakfast. (Also, I may be wrong, but I don’t think the word “potatoes” appears anywhere on the menu. Of course, you do serve potatoes - with a delicious omelette that I enjoyed, for example.)

This is an excellent New England Inn. Rooms are modern and lovely. Much more character than the chain hotels that are in and around Boston.

Business dinner last night at the restaurant was outstanding as was breakfast this morning.

The only negative Travelers should be aware of is there are no desks in most of the rooms. I had no problem using my laptop in the breakfast room.

Great rooms and service and the food is fantastic

Charming hotel,friendly staff, and clean rooms. We stayrd in the main building which has smaller rooms but were very adequate. Large shower was a plus.

Everything was perfect. Comfortable bed, spotless room, impeccable service, great breakfast (pastries and jam are worth staying for alone). I left feeling refreshed and rested, despite staying for work. Will definitely stay again.

Cute and cozy

The heater in Room 37 did not maintain a steady, dependable temperature (it varied \- by 5 degrees F).
Otherwise, superb restaurant onsite and superb continental breakfast.

Quaint, historical setting. Nice accommodations and very friendly staff. Overall very nice stay!

Beautiful hotel and extremely pleasant staff.

Property is over rated. It states to be a relais and chateau hotel but in bad condition!
Rooms are too tight!
Was advertised to sleep 3 and cant fit an extra bed or anything!
Hotel needs maintenance! Minibar didn't work!
Staff at check in not friendly.
Pricy for what offers! Breakfast - fruit and yogurt- eggs are not included!
Really expensive for what offers!

The best stay in all Lexington! Beautifully kept and wonderful staff.

Fridge and room were stocked with goodies. Staff went out of their way to get anything you needed. Turn down service, electronics tower, beautiful decor, seating areas, and surrounding area all perfect
