Old hotel needs maintenance and cleaning

Nice compact room with adequate facilities good bed, Some cosmetic work to the bathroom sink bench could be considered as looks a bit dated/deteriorated.Room 1 in complex.No secure parking but car park in front of room and area well lit.

The good point.. Room was very clean, beds were very comfortable as well.
The bad point.. Having to pay a security bond on top of the payment for room.. it was refunded four days later but that’s an extra cost.
It was in T&C’s.. still I'm not sure of the benefit for the company!!
Other than that I would highly recommend staying here..

Fantastic place, friendly staff, great room, perfect for a couple or small family. Even though it’s next to a pub, it’s quiet in the rooms with a gorgeous little patio area where you can smoke.

Choose to stay here whenever we come into town for the friendliness and great customer service to the yummy meals and nice spacious tidy rooms.

the bed was super comfortable, food was excellent, best fish & chips ive had in a long time, i was very close to the beer garden only a few metres away & Friday night was loud. staff were on the ball well done. Room was comfortable but dated. only gripe they take a deposit of $200. when you arrive not told about that, & it takes 3 days to get it back in my Visa a/c. no need to take money if copy of c/c is in their possession

We had dinner at the Leisure Inn for the first time in many years on a Saturday night. The special on Saturday was pork spare ribs with chips and salad and a pint of beer or a glass of house wine for $25. Great value and the meals were terrific.
The venue is popular with locals and they all agree that they tend to go on nights when their favourite specials are available.
However, there were only three bar staff on duty on a busy night and there were queues at the bar to order pre- dinner drinks and again to order food.
Finally, the online menu on their website lists cocktails at $16 each. The menu at the venue listed them at $19 each. It is not much but the website should be updated regularly to reflect the true pricing.

Apart from having no light in the bathroom and the shower door would stick, I enjoyed my stay at the property.

Room was clean and tidy and very spacious but mattress was lumpy, soft and very uncomfortable, needs replacement. The bathroom was a good size but shower head leaking and taped up with tape, needs replacing and no water pressure either. Outside was table and chairs but they left marks on you legs as no cushions very uncomfortable chairs.
