Comfy stay with a budget price
Pros:

A comfy stay at Burvale with budget pricing. Rooms were of a good size and clean and comfy. I had a meal at the hotel too, due to the convenience of it being right there.

An affordable place to stay.
Pros:

Was nice to have a bed and space to myself. When I asked for a microwave that was happily given. It was also nice to have the room freshened up every day. Staff were friendly, although the reception was often unattended

Cons:

There was a lot of smoking outside the rooms and it made the room smell even with the doors shut because they don't reach the floor properly. When using the light/fan in the bathroom it brings in the smoke smell. The windows don't open and it was very dark in the room. The walls were very thin and the couple next door fought a lot and often at 3 am before going to work at 5 am so it was hard to sleep well. Sometimes other people parked in my car spot.. I didn't use the restaurant or other facilities.

Great Place to stay
Pros:

Staff were very helpful, accommodating and friendly.

The bed was very comfortable and the facilities were clean.

Food was good too.

Cons:

Having to work night shift while I stayed.

TV could have been a little bigger but that's a personal thing.b

Pros:

Right next to the business centre i was training at.

Cons:

Carpet in the Bistro was very uneven, lumpy and difficult to walk on. Really needs replacing.

Also the toilet in my room didn’t flush down completely leaving paper floating in the bowl no matter how many times I flushed.

Pros:

nothing at all.

Cons:

the bed was poor, broken, lop sided, middle was hard, side was way too soft. had 4 pillows, they were all too big and hard. TV didn't work, I told staff about it all, they argued and said there's nothing wrong with it, I asked for a discount, for inconvenience and not getting any sleep, they refused... I rang them at 3am, he went and got another pillow, and it was the same as the others. bed was atrocious !!!

The bathroom could do with upgrade as some tile broken around vanity benchtop and the main room has had ceiling patched and only half the ceiling was repainted

A warm welcome and a great sleep
Pros:

The room was clean and the bed was very comfortable. It was great having a fridge and drinks making facilities in the room. The Bistro served excellent food and drink. Reception staff were very friendly and helpful. So overall the stay was a good experience.

Cons:

The hotel itself looks a bit tired in its decor and I wasn’t a fan of the amusement arcade in the hotel, but it seemed very popular with others.
