Location
The room was not as shown in the photos. It was old, with old carpet, and the bathroom had broken tiles, toilet with brown stains and overall kind of gross.
L’emplacement
Nice hotel, great location to explore the island. No restaurant, but there are lots of options close by. Free coffee in the mornings, and free water to refill your own water bottles. Convenience store next door for cheap beers on the beach.
Slightly loud next to the street, if you like to go to bed early. Hotel has strict rules regarding the pool, and damage to towels or sheets. If you're a responsible person, it's not a problem.
Location is great. Very clean rooms.
Originally, we were in the older building (room 2) which had flat carpet, 2 beds and an older bathroom. We didn’t have room to put our stuff away since there was no closet or real dresser-but they were able to live us to the remodeled rooms which were more spacious.
Great location, very helpful staff, nice pool. Big rooms
I don't know whose fault it was or if it was a system glitch, but I was given a room upgrade for being genius in the app, but got there to be told it hadn't come through the system so we had no pool view. Pretty disappointing. Booking.com didn't help nor did the hotel. Other than that it was great. Could do with a few more lounges by the pool and beach lounges in some shade and a kettle in the room.
Very helpful staff. Comfortable stay. Great location.
There was a very loud rooftop party until 2am :(
The staff was amazing!
Great location between water taxi and the Split.
AC didn't work in one of our three rooms.
The hotel is in a great location, and the pool looked good, though I didn't use it.
What rude staff! I had the 'do not disturb' sign on my door as I was working. One of the women banged and banged on the door despite that to tell me (not ask politely) to switch off a light that had been left on outside my room. Seriously?! I paid a vast price for the room, and you're going to invade my privacy to tell me to switch a light off? She stood there with an arrogant look when I pointed at the 'do not disturb' sign.
The wifi was abysmal.
I stayed 3 nights and at no time did they bother to clean the room or even empty the bins.
Lovely hotel perfectly located near split and restaurants
Very clean
Confortable beds
Accommodating staff
Literally 300m from ferry
Not much really
L’emplacement près de tout, le quai, la piscine et les espaces extérieurs
Le personnel était peu courtois
The only thing I truly liked about this hotel was its location. It’s right in the center of Caye Caulker, close to many great restaurants, and just a short walk to the boat terminal for trips to San Pedro or Belize City. Very convenient.
Where do I even start? We paid $306 USD per night for Room 19, which was advertised as a suite, but in reality, it was just a standard double room with a tiny bar. Had we known this, we would have booked a much cheaper option. The toilet didn’t even flush properly, and we followed their instructions not to throw toilet paper in the bowl. We reported the issue, and although staff claimed it was fixed, nothing changed. Every time we used the toilet, it was a struggle. We had to hold the flush button multiple times before it finally flushed. For the price we paid, the room felt extremely basic.
We also had a major issue with the door lock. When we returned from the beach around 7:30 p.m., the lock jammed, and their office had already closed at 7. No matter how hard we tried, we couldn’t open the door and had to call for help. The woman on the phone was rude and sounded annoyed, which was shocking given we were locked out of our room. That lock definitely needs replacing.
Another issues that I found annoying is despite having several golf carts on-site, they refused to help us with our large luggage, both when we arrived from the boat terminal and when we departed. Their excuse was that requests must be made 24 hours in advance. Honestly, they seemed lazy and uninterested in helping guests while they are just sitting their doing nothing. At other hotels we stayed at in San Pedro, staff gladly sent a golf cart within 30 minutes of our call.
