The staff are not professional at all ( front office staff knock on the door from early morning asking to pay immediately if we need to extend the reservation and the hold POS payment machine!), also the breakfast ends at 9:30 am it should be 11

The pool and gym were great.
Unfortunately, there was a very bad cigarette smell. We moved rooms three times because the smell was so bad. Only when we moved to a different part of the hotel did the smell subside. It wasn't particularly clean and the staff weren't very accommodating.

We have had a great couple of weeks travelling around Sri Lanka. Our final stop was Colombo (12 March 26) and unfortunately we experienced the rudest hotel staff ever at this hotel.
It is certainly the ‘Fawlty Towers’ of Sri Lanka!
Clearly this hotel does not train its staff in customer service at all.
At checkin we were not acknowledged, the man on the desk did not say hello and we had no idea if he actually planned to check us in. When he ‘finished’ he just walked away and I had to ask him from across the room if he had completed our checkin!?!!
Check out was just as bad, no hello or questions, just rudeness.
We needed extra bath towels, 4 phones calls over 4 hours and they finally arrived.
The saving grace for this hotel was the food in the restaurant and the staff there, both the food and staff were great.
Perhaps the staff watch Fawlty Towers videos for customer service training?
Thankfully the rest of our experiences in Sri Lanka were nothing like this!
You seriously need to train your staff in customer service and communication, there are no excuses for being so rude.
Die Zimmer waren groß, sauber und gut ausgestattet. Der Pool mit der Rooftop Bar und dem Meerblick war fantastisch. Sehr zentrale Lage in Bahnhofsnähe.
