Pros:

Hotel mit guter Lage, sehr sauber und gepflegt, ruhig. Empfang - Rezeption- unterirdisch.
Großes Problem: Sargasso Seetang wird leider nicht beseitigt und stinkt je nach Wind fürchterlich.
Caye Caulker ist heutzutage sehr stark überbewertet. Viele Touris kommen nur für 2 Tage, schnorcheln... und zu Riffen -teilweise tot - mit angefütterten Fischen..... Viel Trubel, Lärm und Verkehr - knatternde Golfkarren-
Restaurantpreise wie in Europa.

Bel emplacement car c’est tranquille mais ça pu partout autour!!! . C’est au bout de l’île . Lit super confo et grande chambre mais personnel vraiment pas sympathique .

We enjoyed our stay overall but given the price we expected more

Nice pool, easy access to day trips, location

Cons:

The fountains of the pool kept us somewhat awake at night since our room was next to the pool. This couldn’t be turned off unfortunately. Room wasn’t very clean on arrival (e.g. fake eyelashes in the bathroom, lots of dust under the beds). Small rooms for family of 4. Bathroom and furniture a bit outdated and could use an upgrade.

Yet we did add an extra day to our stay because it was too much hassle to go somewhere else for just 1 night. We came back to Caye Caulker a few days later but went to another hotel for those days.

Overall high price to lesser quality didn’t match our expectations.

Affordable seaside rooms.
Pros:

Affordable wooden hut type rooms next to beach and in walking distance of Caulker centre.

Cons:

I didn't use the restaurant as there were other better options nearby.

A three star good hotel
Pros:

Hotel rooms are clean. Have a refrigerator. The leave you coffee pod for first night, after that you have to pay for them.
Water distributor free. Pool is great

Pros:

The young man checking us in and the lady cleaning the cabanas were very friendly and helpful. We liked the location but it is a bit of a walk to get up to where the main restaurant and shopping choices are located.

Cons:

One of the young ladies checking in seemed inconvenience when we asked for things. The restaurant staff could be a bit more friendly.

Tropical paradise
Pros:

Quite literally beachfront, probably one of the only pools on the island that looks out onto the water (and with a private pier you can swim off or watch sunset). Staff were incredible. Henry from guest services was beyond amazing and informative, super knowledgeable. Bush was also really great, nothing was a hassle and went above and beyond. All staff generally totally made such an amazing vibe. Would stay again in a heartbeat.

I’ve stayed at a few different hotels on the island and tropical has one of the best pools by far..

The people at the front desk were nice

Cons:

The pool smell. I got stung by a yellow jacket. The bed was hard. They did not clean the room much at all. I had to go to them because the trash had not been empty. I ask for the sheets to be changed. It was never done. I had gotten sick and had to go to the hospital/urgent care, I got sick 25 times and the toilet was never cleaned. I cleaned as I went and did not make a mess. I will never go the hotel again and I told many people about the place

We could not take the smell. We told them we were not going to check in after all and they said I had to pay anyways. I told them they can provide availability to someone else and we were leaving.

Cons:

La piscine a été fermée 2 fois lors des plages horaires d’ouverture. Quand on l’a indiqué à la réception, la manager a soupiré, ce qui démontre un manque de professionnalisme, c’est dommage car le reste de l’équipe est souriante et joviale !
