Nettes Familienhotel mit Hitze-Problem und in die Jahre gekommenen Zimmern.
Pros:

Schönes, familienfreundliches Hotel mit nettem Ambiente, gutem Essen, freundlichem Personal und guter Lage.

Cons:

Die Zimmer sind von der Ausstattung her spartanisch und etwas in die Jahre gekommen.
Die Familienzimmer direkt unter dem Dach, vor allem in Ost-Richtung zur Straße hin, sind im Sommer eine Zumutung. Die Zimmer heizen sich am Tag sehr auf, so dass man nachts kaum schlafen kann. Jedoch kann man auch die Fenster nicht offen lassen, da in 100 m Entfernung eine Fernstraße und Bahngleise verlaufen. Man hört das klingeln der Schranken vom Bahnübergang immer wenn eine Bahn kommt, LKW die über den Bahnübergang rumpeln wenn gerade keine Bahn kommt, Autos und Motorräder. Und das bis lang nach Mitternacht und morgens spätestens wieder ab 5 Uhr. Es gibt nur wenige Stunden, an denen es einigermaßen ruhig ist, so dass man nachts etwas durchlüften kann.

Nördlingen ist auf jeden Fall einen Besuch wert!
Pros:

Der Empfang im Hotel, das Personal und die die Lage direkt Nähe Stadtmauer waren sehr angenehm.
Auch das Frühstück war völlig in Ordnung.

Cons:

Das Zimmer war soweit auch ok , aber irgendwie etwas spartanisch eingerichtet.
Für eine Nacht hat es schon gereicht.
Für mehrere Tage wäre es aus unserer Sicht nicht so angenehm gewesen.

A great hotel for those who are driving and want to explore the city easily
Pros:

The entire experience was very comfortable and straight-forward. The breakfast and room were perfect for us as a family. The location is just outside the city walls next to one of the nicest gates, it was easy to park the car at the hotel and walk in to the center.

We were travelling with one adult and two children, the bedroom was perfect for this setup. The beds were really comfortable, the room peaceful and the food was good. So all the important things were done to 100% perfection.

I liked the glass display cases in the corridor going down to the dining room with some history of the meteor impact and samples of the meteor and rocks. It was a nice way to get the kids immediately engaged with what happened in Nördlingen. They also liked the fish axolotl tanks at the reception, it kept them entertained while we checked in.

Cons:

The hotel is clean and well-maintained, but it felt a little like a conference hotel and the decor is slightly dated. This did not bother us at all, but this was definitely a classic German hotel experience: everything well done and solid, but not classy.

Das Hotel erinnert mit seiner schlichten Möblierung zunächst etwas an eine Jugendherberge, das Badezimmer strahlt Krankenhaus-Atmosphäre aus.
Tatsächlich ist das Hotel aber leistungsmäßig in dieser Preisklasse überdurchschnittlich. Wir waren auf Radtour in 8 verschiedenen Hotels - das Jufa war das beste davon, insbesondere hinsichtlich der Funktionsfähigkeit der Dusche, gute Beleuchtung im Badezimmer, Kosmetikspiegel und ein sehr gutes und vielfältiges Frühstücksbuffet. Dass es auch eine Fahrrad-Garage gibt, ist fast schon selbstverständlich. A

Pros:

Wir waren nur für eine Nacht dort. Check in war sehr freundlich und das Zimmer (3Bett) war mit allem notwendigen ausgestattet, sauber und ausreichend. Preis Leistung super . Auch das Frühstück war gut. Für unsere Zwecke war es perfekt.

Good but basic
Pros:

Great location to the walls. Clean throughout and if you had kids - defo plenty to keep them occupied.
Good variety at breakfast
Staff were pleasant but definitely a barrier with lack of English in the restaurant (we tried our best using translate as well)

Cons:

Rooms were very basic.
Dinner was an interesting experience... buffet style which was great and there was some nice variety. However, went for dinner at 7.30pm and felt like this was very late - only ones there and felt pressured to eat quickly and not able to get our moneys worth as packing away whilst still there.

Nette Übernachtungsmöglichkeit im Altmühltal
Pros:

Das Hotel ist prima gelegen, das Zimmer war gut groß und die Ausstattung auch gut. Das Frühstück war lecker und ausreichend, ob es wirklich 21 EUR wert ist, weiß ich nicht (wir hatten es inklusive).

Cons:

Ich würde es gut finden, würden heutzutage auch Lademöglichkeiten für E Autos angeboten - auf dem relativ großen Parkplatz sollten 2 Säulen mindestens nachgerüstet werden.
Einen Duschvorhang finde ich persönlich nicht gut.
