Ett litet paradis
Pros:

En grön oas med fantastisk pool. Rummen är rymliga och vackert inredda med sköna sängar. Restaurangen serverar frukost, lunch och middag med en bra variation av rätter. Man har allt man behöver för en avkopplande semester.

Katastrophal, nie wieder!!!

Unser Aufenthalt in diesem Hotel war leider in vielen Bereichen enttäuschend und entsprach aus unserer Sicht keinesfalls dem erwarteten Standard.

Bereits das erste Zimmer war massiv von Kakerlaken betroffen. Trotz täglicher Beschwerden an der Rezeption wurden wir erst nach vier Tagen in ein anderes Zimmer verlegt. Im zweiten Zimmer funktionierte das Warmwasser während des Aufenthalts nicht zuverlässig – obwohl wir das Problem mehrfach gemeldet haben.

Ein besonders unangenehmer Vorfall war, dass uns beim Abendessen Suppe mit Ameisen serviert wurde. Das stellt aus unserer Sicht ein klares Hygieneproblem dar.

Auch das Frühstück war problematisch: Obwohl es offiziell bis 10 Uhr angeboten wird, waren bereits gegen 9:30 Uhr regelmäßig zentrale Bestandteile wie Croissants, Gebäck oder Avocado vergriffen. Zudem war das Buffet offen zugänglich für Vögel und ständig von Fliegen und Wespen umgeben. Für uns – insbesondere aufgrund einer Allergie – war das sehr belastend.

Der Service im Restaurant war häufig unkoordiniert. Bestellungen wurden falsch aufgenommen oder verzögert gebracht, Wartezeiten selbst bei einfachen Dingen waren ungewöhnlich lang.

Darüber hinaus fanden während unseres einwöchigen Aufenthalts kaum Abendprogramme statt, und ein Fitnesscenter war nicht vorhanden.

Insgesamt entstand für uns der Eindruck, dass grundlegende organisatorische und hygienische Standards nicht zuverlässig eingehalten wurden.

Pros:

The resort is very beautiful and well maintained. The gardens, the pool, the restaurant are very clean and tidy. The spa treatment my wife had was very good and they went above and beyond for our honeymoon with the decoration, free prosecco, room selection and the heart cookies they baked. The jetty bar was lovely and wifi reached pretty much everywhere. If you want somewhere quiet it's perfect. The breakfast was nice and the chefs were skilled.

Cons:

The restaurant menu was too small, we barely ended up eating there as there were only three options, one which was vegetarian and it was almost always pasta. The food was also a little too expensive, although all of Zanzibar is. The resort was very quiet, which for us was a negative thing. We expected some live music, or some BBQ or social scene of which there was none. The resort was also incredibly windy all the time, it is next to Paje which is a famous kite surfing spot so this is constant. If we had known we probably wouldn't have chosen it. That being said it did keep us cool when sunbathing in the day. The curtain rails weren't attached so every time we used the curtains they fell off the wall which was frustrating and somehow every time we went in our room there was 10+ mosquitos, although they would spray for the at the end of the day and they didn't bite much. Small things really but worth mentioning.

Relaxing in Zanzibar
Pros:

Grands bungalows individuels propres et confortables, dans un jardin joli et bien entretenu. Immense piscine très agréable. Personnel attentif. Bonne situation au bord de mer. Il y a un bar sur la mer au bout d'une jetée très relaxant. Personnel très aimable, serviable et attentif.

Cons:

Petit déjeuner bon mais un peu rudimentaire. Sinon, tout bien !

Pros:

Il resort è molto bello e accogliente. Le stanze sono molto curate e pulite. Il servizio di pulizia passa 2 volte al giorno e c'è sempre acqua fresca. Il direttore della struttura è italiano ed è una persona davvero molto accogliente e gradevole.

Cons:

La posizione, un po' lontana dai punti più interessanti dell'isola e la mancanza di servizi di intrattentimento.

A relaxing & pleasant stay
Pros:

A lovely resort with spacious rooms, lush vegetation & relaxing easy vibes. The pool was refreshing with lots of loungers spread around or near the pool. I particularly enjoyed the Jetti bar which had a fantastic view of the sea.

The food at the restaurant was good. I enjoyed the salads particularly. Breakfast was good too with a set menu to pick from. I appreciated that the chef was willing to adjust breakfast requests for dietary needs and preferences. I mentioned to my server how much i loved mango, and each morning a little plate of sliced mango appeared.

Cons:

The cushions on the lounge chairs were thin and not comfortable (especially the lounge chairs facing the sea).

My room was spacious, though initially had a strange sewage smell. Once I had run the air conditioner for a while, that smell lessened & was tolerable.

I wish there was more consistent pool service, i would have enjoyed the delicious ice tea more often if staff managed that service a bit more effectively.

The beach is below the resort, just a few steps down but in many ways it didn’t feel like a beach holiday but a pool holiday. There are lots of locals selling their handicrafts, i found them friendly and not too intrusive but it was still annoying when strolling the beach with constant interruption.

Minor issues for me, I immensely enjoyed the resort after a busy week long safari in a Tanzania

Fantastisch 😍
Pros:

Uitgestrekt resort met charmante bungalows, gelegen in een prachtige, verzorgde tuin. De kamers zijn ruim, uitzonderlijk proper en uitgerust met alle comfort. ’s Avonds wordt de kamer slaapklaar gemaakt, inclusief muggennet en product tegen muggen – een fijne extra. Het ontbijt is uitgebreid en goed.

Cons:

Tip: vervang de doorzichtige gordijnen zodat het ‘s morgens langer donker blijft in de kamer.
