Great experience at Embassy Suites Santo Domingo. The staff was very professional and the check-in was fast and efficient. Special thanks to Emmanuel and Joan at the Front desk for making our stay perfect, there was Aldo another guy at the check in that was super professional. José and Carlos at the pool bar were very friendly and professional. The rooms were clean and comfortable, breakfast was delicious, and all hotel areas are beautiful and very well maintained. Highly recommended! Just planning another trip

Disappointing stay
Pros:

Awful staff on reception not helpful at all which is a shame I have stayed here before! Rude which is disappointing something must of changed with the staff.

Excellent Service, Amazing Views
Pros:

We stayed here while attending a family wedding in March. We upgraded to a King Corner Suite with our Hilton Honors and selected our room using the app. It's a stunning building with amazing views from the higher floors. Check-in was a breeze with friendly, professional staff to greet us. Help was offered to bring in our luggage from the car. Emmanuel was very helpful at the front desk, providing details about the hotel amenities and local restaurants. The evening reception featured some light bites and "happy hour" type specials on beer, wine, and cocktails. This was a great time/place to meet and decide on evening plans. The rooftop infinity pool provided breath-taking views and a relaxing getaway from the street level traffic. Vianely was kind enough to show us around the pool area and fitness center, making sure we found towels, loungers, etc. There's also an outdoor bar by the pool. At breakfast, Rafaela greeted us with a warm smile and guided us to their HH Diamond members seating section. There was lots of variety offered from an omelette station, to pastries, cereal, fruit, eggs, waffles, meats, cheeses, juices, coffee, tea, and more. Our room was well-appointed, modern, clean, and comfortable. The bedroom and bathroom featured floor-to-ceiling windows. The bed was big and comfy. The living area and bedroom each had their own TV. We were amused to find Wendy's and Krispy Kreme both within walking distance. We can never resist those doughnuts. We would definitely stay again and recommend it to anyone.

I just loved it! Outdoor pool and surroundings are beautiful. Breakfast with a wide variety of delicious food. The staff, especially Monica, Jarlin, Juan, Jeffrey (reception), Domingo and Jose (restaurant area) provided exceptional service. Highly recommend to stay at this hotel. We will return soon. The staff made me feel like home. As a first time solo traveler to a country unknown to me all I can say is that the Staff became family. So friendly, easy to talk to. The housekeeper gave me tips and tricks about how to get around in my rental car, what stores I must visit. Parking was easy, free and safe! They have everything you will need.

The hotel was great. Very secure. Great dining options. Room was clean and pool was quiet. The concierge, Amado, was the best. Super knowledgeable and awesome demeanor. Great guy. I would def return.
