Manager Richard and the reception Issac are amazing but unfortunately one of the staff members stole my iPhone
the first room was damp due to leakage and the shower did not work, the second room the fan did not work and the entrance door was stuck causing the door handle to break. this hotel deserves an update because otherwise it was very good.
Cool place to be.
The place was disgusting. Very dirty, had bugs on the bed, mold all in the bathroom. Didnt even stay there. Had to go to different hotel for that night. Set us back half the day lioking for another room last minute. Horrible Horrible Horrible
Stayed over a week here. Most of the staff very helpful, especially in the restaurant. The in-house restaurant had excellent food and service there was great. The wifi was spotty at best, kept going down. Water periodically stopped working, but staff always got it going again right away. Room not large, but functional. Decent pool.
The staff and friendly and remember you get what you pay for!
It was a terrible experience and I would never advise any friend to go there
The hotel had very good service and the food was very tasty. There was a mix up with our rooms and booking however it was sorted after enquiring. Very calm atmosphere and I’ll definitely return.
We lodged at this hotel at the end of Nov 2017 and we were not satisfied. Right from the airport, they did not fulfill their promise of free shuttle from the airport. We had to pay almost 90 Cedes to get to the hotel. They did not even apologize for this or find a way to refund our money. Also, the distance from the airport to the hotel advertised was not true. It took about an hour to get to the hotel from the airport. In the morning, there was no water while I was taking my bath. They told us that they have to pressure the water from the borehole in order to get water to the room. Pressure of the water was so low.
I spent nineteen days at WADOMA Royal hotel at Manhyia. I was more than satisfied. Great staff, clean, courteous and understanding. I’ll certainly stay there when I return next year. Cheers.
Better by far than expected. Restaurant was nice, good cable and wifi, pool with Tiki bar, very reasonable prices. We were in Accra and then went here. Was great, they could not find my reservation, put us in room anyway and figured it out by the next day, Never even asked for a credit card. Very clean, big tv, definetly would go back. We had a great time.
Not in Kumasi at all but in a suburb one hour away!
The entire hotel was in a rate of disrepair and quite dirty. With no other hotels in the neighbourhood and arriving late at night we had no choice but to stay there.
The only real compliments for the hotel is that the staff was very courteous and tried to be helpful despite the many shortcomings of the place and that the restaurant, though extremely slow, did prepare a decent dinner with fresh fish.
The good points:
Hotel was clean, bedroom was decent with both A/C and ceiling fan. Pool looked fine with a small well stocked bar.
Bad points:
The google map on the hotel website was 3-4 miles out of position along the main Sunyani road under construction. The phone number listed on their site "doesn't exist" so we spent an hour up and down the road looking and asking for the hotel.
The worst was the restaurant. A marvellous menu, beef, chicken, pork, prawn dishes, noodle and rice dishes, a freely complete menu. However when we tried to order they had none of it. The only meals they could do was chicken fried rice or chicken and vegetable noodles and a spaghetti bolognese! Another group of 3 walked in and were handed the same extensive menu without being told that there was almost nothing available. They were still deliberating what to choose as we left.
