Zimmer einfach mit alter Ausstattung und Mini Fernseher aus dem letzten Jahrhundert. Zimmer war eiskalt als wir eingetroffen sind. Heizung funktionierte aber gut. Zunächst Zuviel berechnet auf Nachfrage problemlos erstattet

Goed geslapen fietsen stonden veilig

Aangezien we geen aanbieding hadden was er geen diner bij. Er zat niemand in het restaurant en hebben we elders gegeten. We dachten ookzonder ontbijt. Hebben wehelaas gemist

Great place to stay in a very quirky town.
Pros:

This was my second stay at the Buurs sport hotel, I liked the friendly reception and bar staff. The bar served good food at a reasonable price and the breakfast was varied and plentiful. The sauna, swimming pool and gym are available to guests although the pool was often occupied by private sessions for children’s swimming lessons and aquarobics. There is a lovely chill out lounge attached to the sauna where you can sit in your robe and order food and drinks from the bar and read a book. This is really a small hotel attached to a sports centre but this adds to it’s charm. The rooms were cleaned every day and everything was functional. There’s parking outside and it’s only a short walk into town whether it be in Belgium or Holland or both.

Cons:

The WiFi didn’t reach my room with a strong enough signal and i couldn’t get mobile data in the room. If I carefully moved to a certain location I could get one bar of wifi enough to watch YouTube and send emails on my phone. I would have liked more time to enjoy the hotel facilities but I was working so didn’t get much chance that’s not the hotels fault.

Pros:

Ontbijt was prima. Was ook bij de prijs inbegrepen. Parkeergelegenheid.

Cons:

Zeer gedateerde kamer. Badkamer met toebehoren gewoon totaal niet op orde. Schimmel was duidelijk zichtbaar. Op zondag max. om 10.00 uitchecken niet van deze tijd. Warm en benauwd ondanks dat het buiten 10 graden was.
