Rustic feeling, friendly staffs and foods from the Cay Cau taste stunning. Convenient location, quite distance from the massive noise of the street but still close enough to travel around the city on foots, room was nice and cozy, too. Shout out to Mr Huy night receptionist for his amazing service and to all of the front desk team, respectively.
Great customer service kind caring. Rooms were beautiful and very clean. Smell was calming and pleasant Amazing attention to detail.
Would recommend and will definitely be back
The memorable experience I had with The De Syloia Hotel began with an efficient, friendly and warm smile of the staff at the curb and lasted through my two stays at the Hotel. It is a property with a robust and charming history in a part of the city that invites you to stroll the neighborhood. Despite being a busy early afternoon the staff handled each one of with a personal touch. Nam particularly made an impression on me with a smile, politeness and touch of efficiency that rose above the rest. He and his team particularly made our experience at the hotel stand out amongst many. He remembered us when we returned to the hotel for a final stay. Once again he walked me to the cab waved goodbye making me feel that I was leaving a very familiar place.
Congratulations Nam and his peers a job well done! Adieu…
The location of this hotel is convenient. There are many check-in points and Internet celebrity restaurants around. The hotel's hygiene is very good, the service is also excellent, and the space in the room is also very good. Although there are not so many kinds of breakfast, it is expensive and delicious. At the same time, the hotel also provides lunch and dinner. There is a bar on the top floor, and there are discounts for drinking in the afternoon., in the bar the waitress Nguyen Bao Ngoc is not only beautiful, always smiling, but also has a great service attitude. This is a hotel worth visiting.
Everything. No faults at all
We had a wonderful stay in Hanoi and couldn’t have picked a better spot for my trip. The location was ideal—just a short, easy walk to the Old Quarter, which meant we could explore all the lively streets, shops, and food stalls during the day, then return to a peaceful and quiet room at night.
The staff were absolutely fantastic. From check-in to check-out, everyone was warm, welcoming, and genuinely attentive. A special thank you to Joyce, Nam, Dung, Ngoc, and Quang Anh for going above and beyond to make my stay so comfortable and memorable. Your kindness, professionalism, and helpful recommendations made a real difference.
Breakfast at the restaurant was another highlight. The spread was delicious and varied, with fresh local Vietnamese dishes alongside international favorites.
Overall, this hotel made our Hanoi experience even more special. Excellent service, amazing breakfast, and a perfect location close to the Old Quarter while still offering a quiet night’s sleep. I would happily stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Hanoi!
The staff was wonderful from greeting to checkout especially Lucy and Dung. The rooms were spacious and well furnished with a bedroom tv and a separate room for lounging with a tv. The breakfast was filled with a variety of food, breads, cereals and fruits. You can also have eggs, pancakes, and waffles specially ordered. The sky bar was a nice setting to relax and enjoy a cocktail of your choice. There were many brands available.
Our first hotel in our 3 week tour of Vietnam and it certainly set the standard for the trip. Jetlagged, tired and grubby we arrived to staff who were just perfect and made us comfortable after a long day travelling, The scent of lemongrass in reception was perfect and we were served a welcome tea as we signed in. The room was bright and clean with a large bed (I am 6' 3" / 1.90m). We stayed for 3 nights and the staff continued to be excellent with great restaurant recommendations. Breakfast was delicious with a wide range of choices both European and Vietnamese. The fresh fruit was outstanding. I wouldn't look at another hotel if I ever stayed in Hanoi again.
Staff very professional, knowledgeable, courteous and helpful. I highly recommend this hotel.
Amazing front-desk staff.
La gentillesse et la disponibilité du personnel.
Hôtel au décor paisible et chaleureux, bien situé ds le quartier des ambassades et début du quartier colonial. Pas loin du petit lac Hoan-Kiem. Petit déjeuner excellent, grand choix.
The rooms are beautifully decorated and very clean. It feels like a luxury hotel at a very good price. The staff are really kind and helpful and the breakfast is good. It’s also in a quieter part of town but still walkable to the old quarter.
The bathroom did start to smell a bit of drains by the morning which is probably more a reflection of the old plumbing as the bathroom itself was very very clean. The sauna facilities were also closed up and unavailable for use which was a bit of a shame as it is advertised as one of the facilities on booking.com
Hotel pulito zona tranquilla letto comodo
Lo consiglio
We really enjoyed our stay at this calm, comfortable and clean hotel in the French quarter. The staff made us feel very welcome.
Very friendly professional staff / good location
Thanks to the Employees of De Syloia. Everyone was very nice and helped us anytime. They even remember us and our favorite snacks. When we are in Hanoi we are always coming back here. Also the location is perfect. You can walk to the old quarter, there are plenty of shops and food spots, a pharmacy and much more to explore. Again we want to thank the lovely staff.
Location was excellent, breakfast was varied and delicious, all staff were polite and helpful throughout the stay, the room was clean, comfortable and large, and finally the sauna and steam room were cherry on the cake.
Nothing, highly recommend staying here.
