Room was ok, but noisy next to reception, lots of banging doors. Room was clean. Road was noisy. Nice hosts and friendly.

Sandy and Glen run this lodge and you could not ask for a nicer couple. They are truly gracious hosts. Our stay included breakfast and was delivered to us at the time requested on an outdoor seating area. The bay was right in front of us with fantastic views.

We stayed for one night. The accommodation was excellent and the breakfast was superb.
We were stuck in traffic in Auckland and barely made our 18:00 check in deadline. Sandra and Glen were waiting for us and are just wonderful hosts.

Everything!!! Communication brilliant as we were coming in the early hours. The hosts went more than out their way, to ensure we had our correct room requirements, ie one king, one single, breakfast super!! highly recommend this place!!!
Lovely hosts and a fabulous room. I love it when the attention to detail in the room shows that the owners care. This was one of those times. A fantastic kitchenette and bathroom rounded it off superbly. Host were great at giving out tips and tricks of things to do and see. Juat across the road from the beach too. A shame to be leaving.

A really great stay- a warm welcome, a spacious room with everything we needed and breakfast delivered to our room the following morning. On a fairly busy road but the traffic noise did not disturb us. Plenty of space to park, walking distance to shops and restaurants and a sea view, we couldn’t ask for more
