Not frustrating and strange experience.

Not recommending this hotel. Overall odd and frustrating experience. Checking in was not even acknowledged standing in front of the man at the desk until I said hello I'm checking in.
Hotel was cluttered with odd things and old furniture everywhere. There were signs that they were changing out furniture but there were just odd messy groups and piled up things. We couldn't get into our room because the key wouldn't work. Went down and got another key, but it didn't work. The guy walked us up, used his master key to let us in and said he would bring a new key, but he never did. We left for dinner and asked for a key since he forgot. When we got back that key didn't work. He handed me an actual metal key taped to a piece of metal that opened my door (upon checking out with a different front desk person, who was shocked, we found out that that was a master key and can open all doors in the hotel).
The room smelled super old musty and stale.
Now the weirdest part! There was a piece of fabric peaking out from behind a picture frame in the bathroom. When we pulled it out we found a rolled up pair of men's boxers.
Needless to say we will not be staying here again.

We enjoyed the location of the motel, was convenient as we were in town for a funeral.
Pros:

The location was great for us as we were in town for a funeral not too far away. The sheets were clean and the bed was comfortable.

Cons:

The carpets for filthy, stains and loose piling on the carpets also. Hair and dirt built up in corners of the bathroom. The soap dish had tan soap residue in it. The a/c vents were very dusty. Dirty windows. Elevator could use some cleaning also.

Pros:

It was nice to have breakfast. I liked the waffles and that there was biscuits and gravy.
I liked the amenities across the street (pool, workout area, suana, jacuzzi, and steam room). I also liked that there was sinks on the outside of the bathroom and a microwave, refrigerator, freezer and a UV light to sanitize my phone.

Cons:

The facilities and the hotel itself were way outdated.
The butter was too hard to melt on the waffle without having to melt it in the microwave and making the waffle soggy.
The last step upon entry appear to be slightly higger than the rest and both my partner and I tripped just coming in. I injured my back- so that wasnt the best way to start my vacation.

Th staff were very pleasant. The breakfast bar was good

Cons:

It was very long in the tooth. The furnishings were rough, some broken, there were electric plugs that didn’t work and one next to the bed had exposed wires, lamp was broken. We had a two bed room and one bed was broken as it made crunching noise from the base when you sat on it or rolled over. The carpet was a mishmash of pieces it looked like from remnants. The counter by the “kitchenette” looked like it hadn’t been cleaned. Luckily the beds were clean as was the bathroom. It served our purpose but wouldn’t go there again.

Pros:

ok standard

Cons:

advertised restaurant and bar none at location. Help not overly friendly, rooms dated lots of non working plugins, recent paint jobs look like they were done by a child overpaint on walls and ceilings, carpet looks like latest upgrade was in the 70's.

Pros:

There nothing I would recommend to anybody at this hotel should be a motel there pictures lie. There no pool! The pool is part of the gym next door there no bar. Breakfast was gross

Cons:

The room have cockroaches in them I have pictures to prove it. Everything was so different than what we expected. Don’t bring your children here..

Last Resort Only
Pros:

We got a room at last minute as plans changed, and the bed and room were clean, halls, elevator, entrance, dirty. The price washigh for us but it seemed that most of the hotel was rented as low income housing. Last resort booking only.
