Great location, the gardens were amazing, and the service was 5 stars.
The bed and pillows were really uncomfortable
Beautiful property, our room had a balcony with wonderful view, all the amenities you would expect and then some. Price very reasonable for a hotel offering this number of amenities and "extras". Staff was helpful and courteous. The restaurant is decent, with good ambiance. Plus there are 5-6 other restaurants right across the street.
Only thing I didn't like was having to go up hills to get to other nearby areas but that is not the fault of the property.
The whole hotel had a very relaxing, comfortable feel. We felt very relaxed, no queuing or waiting for staff, all interactions pleasant... and they noticed a birthday card so produced a complimentary cake and bottle of bubbly!
Some of the room furniture a bit tired, but functional
Above all, the charm of the buildings and the friendliness of the staff. Location is superb at walking distance to the historic centre, with many restaurants just around the corner, even though the hotel restaurant is really good.

Die Lage ist zum fußläufigen Erkunden der Stadt super. Abends gibt es sehr leckere lokale Küche im Restaurant und morgens zusätzlich auf Wunsch ein super Omelett. Das Personal dort ist ausgesprochen nett und hilfsbereit.
Es ist etwas in die Jahre gekommen und müsste meiner persönlichen Meinung nach renoviert werden. Trotzdem würde ich jederzeit wieder kommen.
Haben in der Junior Suite im Quinta Penha Franca mar gewohnt.
Zimmer ist groß mit schöner Terrasse mit Tisch und zwei Liegen mit tollem Meerblick, der seinesgleichen sucht

Schönes Schwesterhotel Quinta Penha Franca mit schöner Bar, gutem Restaurant und gepflegter Gartenanlage macht einen viel gepflegteren Eindruck mit weniger Renovierungsrückszand
Heizung im Zimmer funktionierte nicht, Sitzmöbel zeigen Auflösungserscheinungen, Safe unbrauchbar, viele Ameisen im Zimmer, alles ziemlich abgewohnt - Renovierung dringend erforderlich
Det var hyggeligt, sødt professionelt og hjælpsomt personale og god placering. Vi boede i den ældre del af hotellet, så trapper og lidt slitage, men det er en del af charmen.
Das Hotel ist wunderschön direkt am Meer gelegen, sehr zentrumsnah zu den Restaurants und dem Hafen. Parkplatz vorhanden, das Frühstücksbuffet ist vielfältig und lecker.

Während des Aufenthaltes wurden die Gardinen ausgetauscht. Das hat dazu geführt, dass man sein Zimmer längere Zeit nicht benutzen konnte. Das Personal an der Rezeption war nicht freundlich.
