Pros:

Very pleasant, light & spacious room with a balcony overlooking the pool. Nice restaurant for breakfast and one dinner with good food. Great location for access into Funchal and views over the harbour. Proximity to a number of very good restaurants within easy walking distance.

Terriblement déçue et très cher pour les prestations
Pros:

La vue et l’emplacement proche du centre à pied

Cons:

Pas du tout au niveau d’un 4 étoiles
Équipements vétustes, moisissures sur le mur de la chambre, mobilier abîmé des années 80, petit déjeuner basique et sans saveur

Pros:

Rustig gelegen en toch centraal in de stad.
Rijkelijk en dagelijks gevarieerd ontbijt
Zwembad hebben we geen gebruik van kunnen maken. Dit is niet verwarmd en momenteel nog te koud.

Cons:

בחדר היה ריח ביוב שהגיע כנראה מזה שאין חלון בשירותים והוונטה כנראה לא הצליחה לשאוב את הריח.
המזרון היה קשה מדי וכל תנועה של בן/בת הזוג הורגשה.
ארוחת הבוקר הוגשה בחדר שבגינה ולכן היה צריך להגיע אליו בגשם

Great location on the sea front
Pros:

Location & sea view room on our first night. Breakfast was good & staff helpful. Free parking when available on site was a bonus. Rivus restaurant for lunch sitting on the terrace was great.

Cons:

Being kicked out of the pool area at 6pm when the evening was still lovely & warm.

Buena ubicación, vistas bonitas en hotel humilde
Pros:

El hotel está muy bien ubicado, a minutos andando del puerto. (Si tienes que embarcar en un crucero es ideal). Nos alojamos en Penha de França Mar, que es el edificio que está frente al mar. Las vistas son imposibles de mejorar ya que las habitaciones dan al mar. El servicio es bueno, en recepción son amables y ayudan en todo lo posible. El restaurante donde dan el desayuno está frente a la piscina y al mar, y el desayuno es aceptable y tienen un pan muy rico.

Cons:

Por otro lado, las instalaciones dejan mucho que desear, ya que necesita una renovación general urgente, tanto en las habitaciones como en el edificio. Las ventanas, el AC, los baños están en estado original (mínimo 30 años). La decoración está muy anticuada y en estado crítico para el estándar general de un hotel de 4*. El colchón está bien, pero las almohadas necesitan cambiarse, estuvimos dos noches, y nos fuimos los dos con dolor de cuello(aunque pedimos otras almohadas y nos las dieron sin problema, son del mismo tamaño que un papel).

Tuvimos la mala suerte que habían obras en el edificio de al lado, y hubo mucho ruido durante todo el día, buscábamos un hotel para relajarnos y la verdad que no pudo ser. Además que ni las habitaciones ni las ventanas son insonorizadas.

El servicio en el restaurante es un poco decepcionante, no son especialmente amables aunque tampoco hubo ningún inconveniente.
Las otras comidas (no el desayuno), considero que los precios son muy elevados para la calidad que ofrecen.

The staff are friendly, the hotel is kept very clean. Unfortunately the rooms and outdoor areas are dated.
Pros:

The location is quite good - on sea front and flat walk to town

Cons:

The poolside area is really uncomfortable and poorly designed.
The sunbeds are very old and uncomfortable meaning people cannot spend time there.
There are far too many beds laid in rows but a nice gazebo on one side with chairs and tables, sofas would be appreciated.

Pros:

Très bon emplacement, tout est accessible à pied. Un grand parking, chambres avec balcons, excellent petit déjeuner à l’extérieur quand il fait beau, gentillesse du personnel. C’était top!
