We selected a one bedroom apartment to have more space. The property is close to the beach, so we figured if the weather was nice we could walk in the dunes. Unfortunately, the weather did not cooperate. The value for the money was good, though the property is in dire need of maintenance and updates. The heating worked well at least.
The unit was ok, but there were several small things wrong with it, that the experience was not very positive. The units are "old glory" and in dire need of updates. For example the slider door to the balcony is likely original - probably about 40+ years old and required. lot of strength to open and close. The TV and modem were not plugged in. That took a while to figure out when we wanted to relax later in the evening. The batteries in the remote control were in backwards which complicated that. The shower drain backed up, which meant you either had to turn the water off a few times while in there, or the water would dump out on to the bathroom floor. The toilet was propped in to the bathroom, making it a challenge to use. The refrigerator had no shelves in the door and no door for the freezer compartment. The safe did not work. We called the reception/maintenance who came to look at the safe, changed the batteries, called the supplier, etc. but they could not get it working and gave up, so we ended up carrying our things with us the whole weekend in a backpack.
One of the main reasons we booked this place in the winter was the indoor pool and jacuzzi, etc. However, before arriving, we were told we would have to bring bathing caps to be able to use these facilities. Bathing caps? Really? The 1960s were a long time ago. Never had that one before. Suffice to say we did not use the spa area.
I hope this does not come over as a 'bitch list' though I'm sure it does. These many small things added up to a less than desirable stay here. We would not book it again. That said, the staff were very friendly.

Não houve limpeza nos 5 dias que estivemos alojados. Achei um absurdo pagar 15 euros por dia para a estadia da minha pequena cadela

Staff is always warm and welcoming. We love Dunas Park, it's a special place for us.
I think we should knew in advance about the facilities refurbishment and buildings around, indoor pool, jacuzzi and sauna was not available.
