Sananwan Palace

Had connecting rooms in the old wing. They were ok for the money. Took a tour of the new building and will definitely stay there next time for the small increase in fees. New rooms look great

Another great stay at Sanawan Palace. Like many others I have been coming here for many years usually for a few days at the end of a trip.

Comfortable old style family run guesthouse with a more modern hotel wing. Clean swimming pool, cold beer and great food.

I always stay in the older superior room which is comfortable enough and good value at 650 Bt per night. Easy to book directly by email.

Interesting local area to wander around. Go to the big temple and the old floating market nearby. Authentic and no tourists.

Only 20 to 30 minutes by taxi to the airport ( this is cheaper than using Grab) go to the short distance queue if coming from the airport.

Highly recommended and look forward to coming back again in 2025

Perfect little hotel near the airport. We booked a night as we had a red eye flight. The rooms are very clean, nice relaxing area in the lobby. The pool is a great size and also super clean. We stayed in a expensive hotel in Bangkok prior to staying here, but found this hotel much more to our liking. They offer 24hr food service too.

I've been coming here for years, the Sananwan I find is the go to homely place before or after any large trip in Thailand. It's close to the airport and offers great value, especially the food menu and the quality of the rooms for the price point. Another plus is that it's also not far from Pattaya, so this is the logical launching off point. Since it's outside of Bangkok proper and on the route, you’ve already got at least an hour head start on the traffic.

I will stay again, my favorite part being able to liaten to the temple twice a day. The room service was well proced and delicious, pool was perfect for my little one.

I really like the few pockets of places that the guests can hang out or eat. Not a very typical hotel set- up..giving guests space. Our room was in the old building that was quiet big. Spacious washroom too! Close to night market, wet markets and temples

I’ve stayed here a few times down the years. I recently stayed at the start and end of my trip to Bangkok. Ridiculously good prices. Big rooms, large beds, great aircon and wonderful hospitality. Would stay again and would happily recommend. For price, you would be hard pushed to find better value for money.

Excelent with nice rooms and super friendly service. This is my favorite Hotel upon arrival and departure after a few weeks traveling in Thailand. The hotel is located in Bangphli approx. 20 minutes by taxi from the airport and 6-7 miles from the center of Bangkok. In the area around the hotel there are great markets used by the locals.
Reasonable accommodation and highly recommended 👍👏

Just one night here but have stayed many times previously. Always good value at the beginning or end of a trip. Older rooms ok but the new wing looks better. Excellent pool to cool off and good food. What more do you need?
Always go to the nearby temple and the old Bang Phli floating market. Authentic and no tourists.

Fantastic staff who go out of their way to help you. Nice breakfast and pool was beautiful. Good fun watching planes go over. We were in old part but rooms were clean and great air conditioners plus a great fan. About a 30 drive to airport. I only stayed 1 night and left for an evening flight the next day. It was so cheap. Will definitely return to this hotel again.

Very good

Check-in was quick and efficient, staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was adequately furnished with two non-descript tables, chairs, bed and wardrobe, and TV. The toilet was small, but the shower provided hot water without having to restrict the flow to a trickle (which I often have to do in more expensive rooms). A/C was quiet.

Breakfast menu included cooked items or muesli, fruit and yoghurt, (my personal preference), though was not included in my room rate.

"Palace' is a rather grand name to describe the establishment, which is rated 3-star, I believe, but given the modest room rates it offers excellent value. During the day planes fly low overhead as the airport is very close. My sleep was not disturbed at night, though I do have some pronounced hearing loss. My 'excellent' rating reflects the value for money and the service rather than the quality of accommodation,

I chose Sananwan Palace because it was only 20 minutes' drive from Bang Pu Recreation Centre, which I wanted to visit for the teeming bird life. This is an excursion I'd recommend to anyone interested in birds and/or bird photography. November to February is the best time for shorebirds. Thousand of gulls being fed by tourists is quite a sight.

I would certainly use the hotel again.

Great hotel with nice pool,cheap food and beer ( help yourself from fridge) and helpful staff.
Don’t expect luxury decor but immaculately clean and pleasant to stay there-it is a bit off the beaten track though.
Would stay again.

I have been coming to Bangkok since 1975 this hotel rates the highest marks in homey friendly feeling and clean efficient service. great pool and wonderful 24 hr Room service. All budgets welcome, what a find, Free WiFi

It is a good place to stay near airport. Room were clean and staff was friendly. They tried to make your stay pleasant.

This is a go-to place for chilling out and enjoying great hospitality in the outskirts of Bangkok. It's close to the airport and all the short distance taxis know about the Sananwan. The staff are helpful as always, and the 24 hour food service is a huge plus. Make sure you stay by the poolside and soak up the great atmosphere.
