Motel 6-Coos Bay, OR

Could have a microwave and fridge in all rooms, bathrooms doors could be pained since they’re all beat up and makes the bathroom look dirty, have better bathroom curtains so water doesn’t splash all outside, could have a bigger tv.

The nob for the tub/shower was stripped so if I wanted a shower it would have been a cold shower. The room wasnt cleaned well and I found tin foil and other drug related trash in the room. The facility smells like they have septic issues.

My experience at motel 6
Couldn't check in because the internet was spotty and they couldn't check me in fully.
I had to wait for the manager to come back from lunch so she could figure out how to check me in.
After that I was given a key card that although the light on the lock showed green the mechanism inside the lock wouldn't physically unlock the door. This happened a couple of times. I was told the maintenance man knew about the issue and had new locks on order to replace it. Also he had gone home for the day and wouldn't come back to help. After my shower the The faucet in the shower would not turn off completely. I told them at the front counter, they didn't care, it ran all night. And when I mentioned it to the front counter her response was it wasn't her water bill and they only made a note. Then just as I was about to go to bed there was a loud bang on the door. It was a police officer because someone called saying someone was being beaten in our room. But there was nothing of the sort. Also the towels set out in the room were used/ dirty

The smell of the room and near the facility and its likely the location and being near the bay. The room was very small and outdated. The bed was not comfortable at all. There was barely a sheet and a light blanket that they make the beds with. The towels were super thin and barely absorbed any water. The shower was impossible to not get water on the floor in the bathroom. The walls were so thin it was like you were in the room with your neighbors next door. I guess I was expecting a little nicer of a room

First room had not been cleaned it was filthy, beds were not made. sheets were dirty. They gave us a different room. TV didn't get all channels. Had to reset it to get it to work. no fridge in the rooms no coffee makers. About as basic as it gets

The first room was upstairs even though we requested downstairs. The couch had huge pieces torn from it all over. The room had a bad odor. It did not have an oven as tasted on Booking website. We were moved to a different room downstairs with no kitchen and had two queen beds. One bed was so uncomfortable that I finally got up at 2:30 am and slept in the other bed that was much more comfortable. The floor was not clean. My white socks were filthy from walking on the floor.

The property was old and they tried to put lipstick on a pig by painting and updating the bathrooms, but it was still very dirty inside the room, and we actually had to kill a roach on the counter. The TV did not function. We had no control over the volume on the TV and the only way you could shut it off was by unplugging it.

The microwave was VERY used and not cleaned out. The freezer part of the mini fridge was frozen over. There were what looked like poop streaks on the wall near the toilet that were not washed off. There was some type of debris in the top drawer of the bureau. Looks like the minimal amount of cleaning possible and the room had a strange odor of celery.

It wasn’t clean felt like the sheets on the bed were not washed slept on top of everything with my sweatshirts wrapped around me. The bathroom had long hair all on it the stain on the box spring there was so much stuff not cleaned as an old cleaner my self this wouldn’t even pass for a second. Stayed in the suites not long ago and they were bad but definitely never staying agian
