Amazonia - The Jungle Experience Resort

Friendly staff and good breakfast

We had a great stay at Amazonia. Check in and check it were very quick and easy. Staff were friendly without being intrusive. I loved the decor and especially enjoyed the greenery. Hearing the birds and water from the mini pond was lovely as well.

Though the breakfast menu is limited and fixed, we enjoyed breakfast and were glad to be able to have a meal before heading out for the day.

The room was clean and comfortable. We really liked the convenience of having a mini kitchen in the room that could be hidden away in the cupboard.

The room was cleaned every day. Curaçao was hot and dry so it was nice to come back to a clean, fresh, cool room.

We had an evening flight and were very thankful that we were allowed to check out late (at no additional cost). We even asked then to cut up some mangoes that we purchased (the knife on it room wasn't sharp enough to cut through the mango skin) and they did it and plated it beautifully.

Amazonia has a small nature area with parrots, macaws, and other birds, as well as iguanas. It is close to an Aloe farm and an Ostrich farm as well as some huge windmills which was nice.

All in all, a nice place to stay.

I went when it was renovating so i couldn’t use the pool very dusty also very limited options for breakfast.Staff was nice .

The quietness and the dining

Lisa is the heart of this hotel.... loved her hospitality.

Jungle themed, there was parrots and monkeys. People were really kind and quick to help us. Big beautiful pool and breakfast with many good options served at our room. Good meat restaurant. However, shower and sink were leaking and the room and shower floor were greasy. really noisy environment with many dogs barking at any hour of the day or night, big music coming from the pool in the early morning.. but generally, its a cool budget friendly hotel. I suggest renting a car because its unconveniently far from beaches and restaurants.

The staff were amazing. Just a little paint would go a long way.

Definitely a place to stay again

No puedo describir con palabras cuanto me encantó alojarme en este lugar y lo contenta que estoy de haber elegido hospedarme ahí, como amante de los animales y la naturaleza, me sentí muy feliz de estar rodeada de animales. Todos los empleados fueron absolutamente encantadores y descubrí que tenían más animales de los que pensaba, ojalá haberme podido quedar más tiempo!

I really loved this place, it was definitely unique. The staff was exceptional! Breakfast was good and the tour was informative.

Well-kept, clean and very good service

Está bastante alejado, la atención fue grandiosa! Las habitaciones muy limpias, lindas y cómodas. La piscina no estaba muy limpia, la comida no fue muy rica y las áreas comunes aunque tienen un concepto diferente y se ve que se esfuerzan por tenerlas presentables, se ven como en mal estado.

Great food and great staff

Beautiful property with friendly staff. The room we stayed in was big and had a little kitchenette inside that was convenient. The animals were amazing and it was fun to be able to get the tour. The pool is small, but water is always fun for kids. It is on the deeper side, so floaties are recommended for the little ones. The restaurant had delicious food and the breakfast was served to the room. It is not in town, so you would need a rental car. Highly recommend this place.

For dinner at Christmas can't get a site its was full.
We decided to eat else where.

Was not what I expected. Closed on monday(They don't tell you this). Will not stay there again.

This hotel is laidback if you’re looking for something not as busy. The rooms were nice and clean, the staff were very nice. The food at the restaurant was great as well.

The hotel have a restaurant so you can eat there.
It is calm and peacefull.
Will go back.
