Great location amazing staff specially Bayram
Lovely hotel with Friendly service, Warishah Guests Relations and staff in the restaurant very helpful and personal experience with them
Great location n walking distance to everywhere. Beds n pillows very comfortable.
This hotel is listed as a 4/5 star...it would barely make 3 stars! Our room was tiny, despite the booking page telling us that its fine for a family of 3, we could barely move....
The bathroom had an awful smell of sewege constantly. The floor showed ingrained dirt and thick dust covered the furniture. The ant infestation was also delightful! Used towels were not replaced and simply folded wet and put back on the shelves....
We were eventually moved but the room wasn't much of an improvement! The staff are not approachable and look at you with disdain if you ask for help with anything. You also feel slightly put on the spot with staff approaching you and asking for good reviews....which was both funny and infuriating seeing as they were reluctant to help with anything! The only helpful member of staff was NisaNur, who had a genuine sunny disposition. The pool area is small for the number of guests. I hate giving negative reviews but I think this hotel is misold and expensive for what it actually is!
Varisha is very nice and welcoming. She helped us by providing us information about sites to visit and excursions to do.
Hotel is terrible.
Do not stay at this hotel. It is terrible. The rooms are tiny, the décor is dated and the hotel itself is in poor condition. We arrived late at night and instead of receiving the two rooms we booked we were forced into a single "family" room. For the entirety of our stay the cleaning cart and vacuum cleaners were placed outside of our room.
The photos of the hotel are totally misleading, as are the reviews. This property is nowhere near 5 star, more like 2-3 star.
It’s been a lovely experience all the staff have been welcoming and especially bayram who I’ve spoken to him many times he asks if I need anything for my room and if everything’s going smoothly. Communication is 10/10
Helpful staff great location and good breakfast buffet. Cant complain!
I would like to sincerely thank Warishah from the Guest Relations team at Aura. She is kind, professional, attentive, and always greets guests with a warm smile. She genuinely cares about making every guest feel welcome and valued. Her excellent service and positive attitude made my stay even more enjoyable. Thank you, Warishah, for your outstanding hospitality!
This hotel in it self is outstanding staff are amazing very helpful every single staff are outstanding, and if you need help with shopping correct information is available form they staff so you don’t get ripped off by shop keepers,
wow breakfast time service is also outstanding I highly recommended this hotel when it’s come to your stay in Istanbul everything, also by trams stops also 1 min walk just rounder corner very handy being near by also all inclusive package are amazing food never to be missed. Everything about this hotel I really enjoyed family suite are very specious.
We spent two nights here before Cappadocia.
Starting with the positives the hotel is a good area lots of lovely restaurants on your doorstep and tram stop literally 5 minutes walk
Young guy on door super helpful and welcoming… and that’s where it stopped. The hair dryer was broken so phoned reception to get fixed so went to breakfast with wet hair then wasn’t fixed after so had to go siteseeing with wet hair didn’t have time to wait around . Im always super polite to all staff but there was most definitely an off vibe with women on reception. The hairdryer was replaced after we had been out all day ?
We loved Istanbul but it’s quite difficult to get about so we just used Ubers .
Most definitely recommend visiting Dalmache palace gates to Heaven stunning , walk past first gate and head to the big ones .
Our favourite dinner was Seven hills restaurant walking distance from the hotel everything on point and waiters lovely with stunning views of the Mosque .
This was a great experience staying at Sura Hagia Sophia Hotel. i would definitely recommend to anyone coming and visiting here in Istanbul. Especially if they want to be near shops, restaurants and sightseeing of the Blue Mosque and other sights. Warisha has been tremendous help!
Good location staff amazing specially guest relation Bayram ,
Отличный отель. Приветливый персонал. Очень хорошие место расположение, до достопримечательностей рукой подать.
The maître d’hotel Yasin is the best. Very friendly and helpful.
The room we got on the 4th floor was not very comfortable. Too small for 3 a family of 3 and 3 luggages. The bed was ok though. No shower but a rather high bathtub. I wonder how elderly people can step in it. The cleaning of the room took too long untill the evening.
The tap in the sink was leaking.
On the terrace constantly music is playing. That would be ok but it were two songs playing at the same time. They seemed not to hear but as musicians it drived us crazy.
Drinks and food were very expensive 10-12 Euro for a beer. A bottle of wine 50 Euro. Getting towels for the swimming pool: reception lady said ‘call 10 minutes before you go to the pool’. Ok I called. Another reception person said ‘we don’t do that. You will get them at the pool’. At the pool the lady said ‘towels must be brought from your room’. Breakfast was very crowdy and chaos. Seems everyone just book room and breakfast. Only few people book half board. No real buffet for dinner. Only a few choices but you can order à la carte. That’s an alternative of course but not really what we expected. In the restaurant street cats come asking for food. Not really expected in a hotel.
Mawada and arif from reception were really helful also reyhan was really nice and Emre from the bellteam the location is good and also the hotel was super thanks tp the good staff
Mawada from reception is really nice also location is good
Alkan was the best bellboy
