Courtyard by Marriott Portland Downtown/Waterfront

The room was very clean. The staff were friendly and the bar area was fun after we got back from dinner

This is not your average Courtyard. Finishes and ambiance are more like a boutique hotel with leather and dark wood accents all over. All double rooms have double king beds not queen. Staff is friendly and attentive and willing to go the extra mile. See Chase at the bar he will get your visit off on the right foot. Perfectly located in the Old Port and walkable to everything. Perfect anytime of year!

Location was excellent for our purposes!

This is my 3rd stay at this hotel. It is my go-to hotel in Portland Maine due to its proximity to the airport and downtown. It has a very nice lobby, valet parking, and allows you to step right into the waterfront greenbelt, shopping and restaurants. it's definitely a solid choice!

Perfect location for being able to walk to Old Port area. Clean rooms, great shower, nice public spaces, but far and away the best part of the experience was the staff. They could not have been friendlier or more accommodating. Went out of their way to make us feel welcome and be sure every expectation was met. Really made the stay great. Would definitely stay here again.

We spent one night at this hotel - in Portland for a concert and celebrating our 45th wedding anniversary. We had reserved a harbor view room, and requested a nice one for our special night. The staff at the front desk were incredibly friendly and wished us a Happy Anniversary the moment we arrived! We had a very nice room looking out towards the harbor. The bed was so comfortable (not unusual for a Marriott!). The only complaint is that the bathroom sink filled right up and didn’t drain for a very long time, but we seem to be encountering this more and more no matter where we stay! When we returned from our walk around downtown, there was an anniversary gift bag with some goodies and a card waiting for us! The hotel is in a fantastic location close to restaurants, shops and venues all within walking distance. A shout out to Maggie (I hope I got that name right) at the front desk who was incredibly thoughtful and very, very nice! Would absolutely stay here again.

It was fine, not worth the cost

Clean room, very comfortable beds, staff was so helpful and friendly, valet was great and driver to airport was A+. Bistro was a little lacking for a decent meal.

I liked that the room were comfortable and spacious enough to hold 2 king-sized beds.There were 3 of us staying in the room and it was large enough to accommodate us for a 4 night stay. We chose Courthouse it's convenient location to all the sights and restaurants. Except for the Portland Porthead Lighthouse, we were able to walk to all our destinations.We also appreciated he clean and decent+sized gym.

What we didn't like was the loud humming noise from the AC in the middle of the night despite it being turned off. Luckily, we're from a big city and are accustomed to noise from the street at night.

The remote for the TV in the bar did not work; no bottled water was provided; and parking was more expensive than advertised. Other than that, we enjoyed our stay.

We enjoyed our stay. Great location. The beds were comfy.
