not a great nights sleep on a sofa bed when you were expecting 2 kings
Cons:

When I book a room with two king size beds that is what I expect when I check in. Not to arrive and say oh, we accidentally overbooked and that room type is not available; we have a single king with sofa bed is unacceptable. When hotels start being like airlines and overbooking it is very frustrating. I expect what I reserve to be available.

Definitely a good hotel to stay in Portland, for families or people travelling on business.
Pros:

The hotel is very clean and feels new. The rooms are spacious and the two king beds were great. The gym was nice as well, and so were the lobby areas as they had plenty of space to relax or even work (if it was a business trip). The hotel was well located, near a lot of restaurants. And actually, the Canopy hotel which is next door has a great place for breakfast. Also the rate we paid was great for the quality of the hotel.

Cons:

I would have loved for the hotel to have had parking, as I am not a fan of paying $40 for valet parking. My daughter was super anxious to use the pool but unfortunately it was under maintenance. The view was not great as it is next to the port...so not much to see.

Great stay at comfy hotel that felt like new
Pros:

Great location. Room was spacious for our family of 3. Lobby was chic and comfortable. Check-in was quick and painless. Hotel was very pretty and modern. Everything was clean. Great location - walking distance to lots of restaurants and shopping. Harbor is across the street. Valet was quick. Courtyards are generally not on our list of places to stay, but I was very pleased - Great stay!

Not your average Courtyard!!
Pros:

This is not your average Courtyard. Finishes and ambiance are more like a boutique hotel with leather and dark wood accents all over. All double rooms have double king beds not queen. Staff is friendly and attentive and willing to go the extra mile. See Chase at the bar he will get your visit off on the right foot. Perfectly located in the Old Port and walkable to everything. Perfect anytime of year!

Good visit overall!
Pros:

Location was excellent for our purposes!

Cons:

The price of parking was extortionate.$40 a day! Also we couldn’t get on to the internet via the Wi-Fi despite speaking to staff at reception. It was only when we visited our second location which was also a Marriott hotel that we found out that you need to join Marriott Hotels app befor you can get complementary internet access!

Great location
Pros:

This is my 3rd stay at this hotel. It is my go-to hotel in Portland Maine due to its proximity to the airport and downtown. It has a very nice lobby, valet parking, and allows you to step right into the waterfront greenbelt, shopping and restaurants. it's definitely a solid choice!

Amazing Staff
Pros:

Perfect location for being able to walk to Old Port area. Clean rooms, great shower, nice public spaces, but far and away the best part of the experience was the staff. They could not have been friendlier or more accommodating. Went out of their way to make us feel welcome and be sure every expectation was met. Really made the stay great. Would definitely stay here again.
