This place will never be “luxury-“ by design. It’s a mid-century motel. However, the owners are spectacular hosts and their friendly customer service makes up for everything.

Owners alone make it worth it!
Pros:

The owners were so incredibly friendly :) it was a quiet place but still near places to go shopping for supplies or food. Definitely will be going back next time I'm in the area!

Pros:

The owners were extremely friendly and helpful. The rooms are nice. They use actual keys which I like cause I don't have to go to the desk continuously to get them redone cause they suddenly don't work. Very close to good food and grocery stores. Short drive to all Hocking hills attractions. Lake is just around the corner. The place is a little dated but you can see stuff they have been gradually updating. It is quite and quant. They were great for our dogs too. Nice lawn for potties with picnic tables. Recommend. We enjoyed ourselves.

Cons:

It's not the best with upstairs being soundproofed from downstairs. We had a child stomping around. Otherwise the only issue i had was with an inconsiderate guy who parked his truck over the sidewalk at his door, then he dropped the tailgate so the whole sidewalk was blocked off. Plus he sat out there for hrs on the phone. Then he was LOUD closing doors and tailgate repeatedly at 5am or a little earlier.

Nice, quiet, and pleasant stay
Pros:

Lovely, well maintained local, family owned motel in a very quiet bit convenient to everything setting. Our second time staying here and we will do so again when in the area.

Great stay!
Pros:

This is the cheapest place in the area which made me nervous to book, but I am so glad I did. First off, the owners are great! So friendly and even let me check in early. The room is pretty basic, but it was very clean and the bed and pillows were quite comfortable. There was also a fridge and microwave in the room too which was nice.

Cons:

No real complaints. It's obviously not the Ritz, so it truly did exceed my expectations.
