Outstanding Service
Pros:

Perfect location just off beach road
Very friendly helpful staff who cant do enough for you. During our overstay there due to conflict in middle east the hotel manager Mr Vimukrhi let us stay for an extra week with no rush for us to leave .His support and care was exceptional throughout. Staff members Roger , Nissansala and Lionei (whose Father Roy also offers a great TukTuk service nearby )also contributed to our amazing stay here .Rooms were spacious clean with a large balcony and a sea view. Tea making facilities and a TV included. This hotel provides a swimming pool with cushioned sunbeds a stones throwaway from the beach where you will find plenty of beach bars and restaurants. We stayed on a bed and breakfast basis . The food here at the hotel was excellent and very good value . I would recommend this hotel over and over again . I will definitely return has it offers great service at such a good affordable price . The Sri Lankan people are the most friendliest ive ever met .

Great place to stay, missing it already!
Pros:

We recently returned from 2 weeks staying at Hotel J Negombo as part of a TUI package holiday and found it a great place to stay. The breakfast was excellent, particularly the traditional Sri Lankan option, available as vegetarian, and all members of staff were very friendly and helpful throughout our stay. Direct access to the beach was ideal for pre breakfast strolls and also a trip on a traditional catamaran.
Having a water cooler on each floor meant we didn’t have to buy any plastic bottles.
We paid a little extra for a sea view room which is really worth it, we frequently had picnic lunches on the balcony while taking in the view which was also great at sunset.
One of the hotel managers put us in touch with a local driver who took us to Dambulla and Anuradhapura stopping en route for king coconut drinks and local baked goods. The hotel provided us with packed breakfast for early morning departures.
There were lots of places to eat in the evenings nearby too, so all in all we had a fabulous couple of weeks.
Don’t miss Negombo Sunday market while you’re there, great for fruit and shirts!

Nice place to stay
Pros:

Very nice hotel. The breakfast was good. WiFi and AC worked really well. We recomment this hotel. They offer water from a big tank. The boss was very nice and helpful.

Cons:

They didn't clean all the rooms everyday. Staff was friendly but a bit slow on some things. For example my door didn't get locked and they fixed it a bit slowly.
