Love the rich history behind this building. The staff are very friendly here. Room is very nice and tidy.

Sofitel Legend People’s Grand Hotel -Xian
The hotel has a grand entrance with beautiful grounds and
fountains.We were met at the car and welcomed and
escorted to the reception desk where we sat and had a
welcome drink and completed formalities and then
escorted to our suite.
The suite was magnificent ,one of the best rooms I have
ever stayed in and had all the amenities one could wish.
We were invited to their Club Lounge on the 7th floor
which was beautifully furnished and was provided with
cocktails and expansive nibbles, what a great start .

The hotel was apparently built in the 50’s by the Soviets
and from the outside it definitely has a Soviet Communist
style in a very grand way, but inside is pure opulence

I just want to say that this hotel is absolutely wonderful in every way.
Everything—the location, the interior, the staff, the attitude. Exceptionally professional and respectful, yet at the same time very friendly and warm.

On our arrival we were asked to make ourselves comfortable on their sofas with welcome drinks while they checked us in. We then received an upgrade to a suite and all mini bar items for free. What a brilliant start to our stay in Xi’an.

Hotel is very impressive with beautiful decor throughout the hotel. Our room was clean, spacious, with sitting area and 2 toilets. The bedsheets & towels were changed daily. They had turndown service too. Fresh fruit was provided everyday with different drinks & a treat left at our bedside every night. Plenty of mineral water was provided daily for free.
Delicious breakfast with a number of cooked options. The staff from reception, to concierge & restaurant staff were very polite and ready to help. I wish I could have remembered some names. Hotel is located within the walled city making it a short taxi ride to some of the tourist attractions.

This is a truly 5 star hotel and I will highly recommend it.

The staff were fantastic. We had an excellent recommendation from the concierge for thi gs to do.
It was a lovely hotel. Loved the afternoon tea. Room was large with a comfortable couch yo sit on. It was clean and comfortable. I would stay again if in the area.

This is a very interesting place and not for everyone, but we enjoyed our stay. The hotel was built by the communist party in 1953 to serve high level party leaders and foreign visitors. The renovation is impressive and the rooms are very nice. It is a little off the beaten path and can feel a bit quiet in the off season, very quiet, but a nice stay overall

这次入住西安索菲特传奇酒店，真的给了我一次难忘的住宿经历！从走进酒店的那一刻起，就感受到了这里温馨而优雅的氛围。不过最让我印象深刻的，还是前台人员Fancy的专业与热情。

Fancy不仅态度亲切、笑容满面，而且工作效率极高。在我办理入住时，她细心地为我介绍了酒店的各项设施和周边景点，让我对行程安排有了更清晰的认识。当我提出一些关于游览路线和当地美食的问题时，Fancy也是耐心解答，给出了很多实用的建议。她的专业知识和服务意识，真的让我感到非常贴心和满意。

在这里，我要特别表扬Fancy！她的出色表现，无疑为西安索菲特传奇酒店增色不少。希望酒店能好好奖励这样优秀的员工呀！以后再来西安，我一定会再次选择这家酒店，也希望还能遇到Fancy这样优秀的服务人员。

What a beautiful hotel, building and interior this is. The rooms look opulent and the entire hotel breathes luxury. Right in the historic centre or Xi’An. Executive lounge offerings were great. Staff is one of the very strong points of this hotel. Suite was a bit on the small side but looked great. I’d definitely recommend staying here.

The staffs, particularly Eva really went above and beyond to help us.

The room was very good and the staff was very nice and helpful, arranging a private tour to the Terra Cotta Warriors and the Tomb of Emperor JIng Di

Arrival welcome by the Asst Chief Concierge- Wilson was warm and Personal. My room was ready by then and I was promptly checked in by Ms Hattie. She so friendly and approachable.

Room was beautiful and well thought out. Bath amenities were luxurious.

Breakfast team were equally wonderful. Special thanks to Ms Yara, Anna and specially to Chef He, who remembered my preferences for breakfast offerings.

I was fortunate to have met Mr Farsave- Chief Butler, Mr Danny - Front Office Manager. They sprung into action when I feedback an issue I fixed in the room, giving me an upgrade as service recovery.

Every time I leave the hotel for sightseeing, I will be warmly greeting by Ms Eva, Mr Alan, Mr Deni and Mr Frank.

They even decorated my room for my birthday.

This hotel and all its staffs takes personalised services seriously. If there is a hotel to stay in Xi'an, Sofitel Legend is the place to stay.

This hotel is absolutely amazing. From the moment we stepped into the hotel we felt welcomed. The staff were very helpful and friendly. They offer us a glass of champagne and gave us a room upgrade at not additional cost. Danny, the manager went out of his way to make our stay memorable. Andy ( not sure what his position is) also, was very nice and helpful.
The happy hour at the bar at level 7 is definitely a plus.
The room we stayed in was very spacious and beautiful decorated.
We had an excellent stay and I will definitely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Xi’an.

An OK hotel for a couple of nights.

A bit disorganized, and restaurants ( with the exclusion of the buffet ) weren’t worth the high prices.

Legacy building with quiet and calming enviroment, very welcoming and accomodative staff.
The luxe suite is perfect with everything.
Although a bit lack of personnel, the breakfast is very nice with a lot of choices and quality and fill-up are not affected. Local treats are very interesting to the first-time visitor.
Overall, I would leave a 95 out of 100
