Disappointed by smell in our room and lack of apology from staff.

Our room smelt like a wet rag when we arrived. We thought it was that the room was musty as the aircon wasn’t on. Turned on the aircon, and it didn’t improve. My son laid on the bed and disgustedly found his pillow smelt like an old wet smell. I couldn’t locate any other source of the smell.
Took the pillow to the staff the next day, and they said they couldn’t smell it and said that sometimes that motel rooms are musty. They said the staff would replace the pillow and check the room during room service. We came back to an “odour eater” moisture absorber/air deodoriser on our windowsill. Nil further information provided by the staff, or reasoning to wet smell. Noted the beds didn’t have proper doona covers - the sheets were covering the quilt and the quilt insert had stains on it.

Great place to stay. Meals and staff always excellent every time I stay at the Glen . Travel from Melbourne to visit my daughter. Totally rate staying there .

Amazing
Pros:

Bed were so comfy, rooms were clean . Special thank you to the staff who never complained about our loud family! There were a lot of us. Staff were lovely!

Also love how you can enter the hotel near the parking area & bypass walking through the lobby area.

Easy access with free parking, also the in house free laundry is a plus, also an ice machine in the laundry room. Didn’t try the swimming pool so can’t comment

Bed was comfortable but the air conditioning took some working out. Pool hadn't been cleaned for a while.
