Hotel Peace Island Taketomijima

Beautiful place to stay. The room was spacious and very clean. Both dinner and breakfast were delicious. They offered transportation from and to the ferry terminal that was very nice. Rental bicycles were available on site.

I truly did not expect the stay to be this wonderful.
Both breakfast and dinner were beautifully prepared, generous meals made with an abundance of fresh local ingredients. The dinners were especially memorable — the sukiyaki and sashimi in the evening, as well as the guava juice and homemade yogurt in the morning, were absolutely delicious.
The room featured a wooden roof, and through the windows we could see a small private garden enclosed by the beautiful hedges. The sound of the wind was incredibly soothing, and had the weather been clearer, I am sure the night sky would have been filled with beautiful stars.
The staff were exceptionally kind, providing thoughtful guidance and transportation. The lobby is filled with books about Taketomi Island’s history and sightseeing spots, so whether you are waiting for the shuttle or relaxing after a walk through the village, you will never feel bored.
This hotel truly made our stay on Taketomi Island an unforgettable memory. I could not recommend it more.

朝食・夕食ともに、地元の食材を生かした丁寧な料理が出され、内容・味ともに満足できました。(夕食のすき焼きや朝食のグァバジュース、手作りヨーグルトがとてもおいしかったです！)
客室は木の屋根が特徴で、窓の外には生垣に囲まれた小さな庭があります。風の音が心地よく、天候に恵まれれば星空見れるだろうなと思いました
スタッフの方の案内がとても親切で、ロビーには島の観光案内や歴史に関する書籍が多く揃っており、散策の前後や待ち時間も落ち着いて過ごすことができました。

竹富島での滞在先として、とてもおすすめできる宿だと思います。

お風呂のシャワーがリファで気持ちよかった。

Great location to watch the sunset before dinner. In general you're never far from any thing on Taketomi though.

Ottimo luogo dove passare il suo tempo. Il personale è gentilissimo, anche se parla poco inglese. Ti vengono a prendere al molo all'arrivo ed è possibile noleggiare le bici. La camera era pulita e con buoni servizi. Il WiFi funzionava bene. Noi avevamo la mezza pensione e pranzo e colazione erano abbondanti e di qualità anche se è "fisso" e solo in stile giapponese. Ci ho passato una sola notte, ma lo consiglierei comunque.

ゆったりとしたお部屋で、天井も高く開放的でよかったです。
隣の人の話し声は聞こえてくるくらいの壁の厚みですが、総合的に島時間をすごすにはよかったです。

また夕日、星空を眺めるスポットとしても有名な西桟橋へも徒歩５分くらい、中心地へも徒歩15分くらいでアクセスもよかったです。
自転車貸し出しもあったのでお借りして島散策も楽しめました♪

天気の関係でハンモックをわたしは利用できませんでしたが、ハンモックにぶら下がってすごす
なんていうゆったりとしたすごし方も良さそうなお宿です。

新年早々いい旅ができました。

ギターを持参したのですが、音を出せるようにとの部屋割りをしてくれた点
天気が悪く乾いていないと言われていたハンモックの手配をしてくれた点
島の話、釣りに話等楽しくお話ししてくれた点
売店のお土産の品揃えの面白さ、安い点
ご飯のおいしさ、ボリームがすごかった点
部屋の雰囲気も良く、落ち着けた点
西桟橋も近く、夕日が見に簡単に行ける点
レンタル自転車を滞在中の使用トータル時間で計算してくれるので安くなる点
悪かった点:
強いて言うなら、混んでいる時は隣の声がうるさく感じてしまうかも？くらいです。

お部屋に竹富島に関するオリジナルのDVDがありました。楽しく拝見させて頂きました。
従業員の方の(元気さ？)差があった気がします。トータル的には親切ですし、特に問題はないですが…。宿自体は綺麗ですし過ごしやすかったです。
