Hotel Coronado Inn

The only thing that wasn’t good….was the internet..we couldn’t get it in the room. We had to go the Resturant to use.

Coronado Inn is one of the nicest stays in the area. The staff members are professional, welcoming and very patient. While their English is limited, and my Spanish nonexistent, we were able to communicate and understand each other. The rooms and towels were cleaned and refreshed daily. They also left folded "towel creatures" on the bed which provided a nice, soft touch. Also, the restaurant on the premises provides some delicious, upscale meals. I will be staying here when I return.
Let me just add, on our last day, when hubby and I didn't return as we had previously done six nights in a row, the staff called my cell phone to check on our well-being. I've NEVER had that happen before. I was appreciative and impressed by their thoughtfulness. Thank you!

Restaurant had good food, pool was nice room was very clean, building very clean, building was surrounded by everything you need. Grocery stores Restaurants, banks all surrounded this Hotel. Staff was very friendly!

La instalaciones de mantienen limpias y bien presentadas. El personal es muy amable.
Solo pondría mejor señalización en la entrada para evitar pasar directo hasta la plaza comercial, con la cual no tiene relación.

Good, clean, hotel, basic services good value

After reviewing their daily rates, I made an easy online reservation. This hotel is located along the highway, behind a casino. I took a San Carlos coaster from Albrook and was a short walk from the bus stop to the hotel. With a few malls closeby and plenty of restaurants in the area, I was able to find everything I needed. Hotel staff did a great job of answering any questions. I was able to converse in English. I requested an apartment refrigerator and they accommodated my request. The facility was clean and inviting. My room was spacious and had a comfortable queen size bed. I opted for $10 laundry and was very pleased with the service. They have a small in ground pool.

The in-room safe did not operate because it did not have batteries. Many basic amenities were missing - no microwave, coffee maker, iron, hair dryer. The hotel runs front to back with open interior hallways. Truck and bus traffic could be heard from the highway.

My biggest concern was the WiFi. With just a few English channels on the cable, I tried to watch YouTube videos, but the internet would quit and restart every few minutes. Eventually, on my last day I was not able to pull up any videos at all. Similar for WhatsApp calls, my call would start and be cut off after a short time. Text messages went through in place of voice calls.

I understand the hotel is under new management and it appears they are working daily to improve conditions there. With such a nice staff, I can overlook any discrepancies.

Coronado Inn is just fine. We had stayed there before. But it was an unpleasant surprise getting billed $183.54 by Hotels.com and later receiving the cc receipt from Coronado Inn bill for only $141.84. Difference = $41.70. Tried asking why on Hotels.com virtual chat, but never got through. Curious.

Petit hôtel au calme et pourtant donnant sur la Panaméricaine. Hôtel de taille familiale avec piscine et terrasse très agréable. Une très belle surprise pour nous à tel point que nous sommes restés 1 nuit de plus. L'hôtel est en pleine rénovation et nous sommes certain d'y retourner. Une simple petite critique : il serait idéal de pouvoir avoir un café au réveil. Peut-être une simple machine dolce gusto ferait l'affaire, afin de pouvoir proposer un café, thé ou chocolat en se reveillant après une bonne nuit... A très vite...

Great place to stay, basic low budget, no desk. or chairs for sitting and working on computer, etc.
No glass wear, plastic or other wise.
Unknown if was ice available or not.
Unknown if they had a restaurant.
Great place het in and out ina quick overnight stay.

I arrived early by 30 minutes, the receptionist just let me check in around 15 minutes before 3 o'clock. They give you a single key. The AC was really bad during the day the room was hot. But the room was clean. The restaurant is closed so you need to buy your food on the area.

This is an excellent location, great amenities, delicious restaurant, clean and friendly staff, always a pleasure to stay here.

No es lo que parece en las fotos, muy caro para lo que en realidad es. Wifi no sirve, aire viejo, no incluye desayuno y es cara la tarifa teniendo instalaciones baratas. No sirve elevador

Older hotel. Some noise from casino before midnight. Staff very friendly everything went good and everyone did their jobs to make you happy Breakfast was good and efficient.

Definitely a no frills. You want a place to lay your head for overnight, this is it. And thats all it is. Splash pool. No coffee maker or refrig, just bed and bathroom. Didnt lookf dirty, just felt dirty.off a main road so noisy but on a Tuesday night there was also an all night party (untill 130 am) across the road. No rest for the weary!!!
