A wonderful stay, so comfortable, clean, gorgeous staff who are so helpful, powerful showers with very hot water, proper

They have thought of everything to ensure their guests comfort and the hotel is so well located. The beds and pillows are very comfortable. Hot strong showers. Extra towels. Really stylish decor. Breakfast coffee is strong. Adjacent to the hotel Frontenac and near good restaurants. There is even a wine dispenser in the lounge room and spa tub. The reception staff and kitchen lady are delight. Quiet location in front of a park with views of the Dufferin Terrace. Would stay here again.

Cons:

The front door opens out onto steep steps that force you to step backwards and down the steps and risk falling.

Parfait pour un court sejour.

L emplacement ideal et la gentillesse du personnel. La terrasse avec une vue superbe.

After spending all day at 4 different airports, our arrival was after 11PM. We were given instructions of how to retrieve our room keys from main entrance lock box. Surprise to find one of the bed is Murphy bed, which was not stated in reservation confirmation. We tried hard to open up the Murphy bed without any luck. We end up had to share the bed after a long day😔. Lots of dusts on top of lamps above kitchenette table.

Looking forward to a good breakfast before we started our guided tour. Disappointing breakfast selections. All breakfast items were displayed in a very small room and everything were from the box convenience type of selection.

The steep stairs at front entrance are challenging to bring up our luggages.

La situation et l'accueil de l'hôtel étaient excellents. Le staff très gentil. Ils ont répondu à toutes mes questions. Rien à dire à ce niveau, merci

Extrêmement déçu par le déjeuner. Les œufs étaient froids, les fruits très peu nombreux et de faible qualité, le fromage semblait ultra-transformé, le pain était commercial, et les saucisses ainsi que la quiche aux légumes donnaient l’impression d’avoir été simplement réchauffées, possiblement de la veille.

Ce déjeuner mérite clairement une révision. Il suffirait de quelques améliorations simples : offrir deux ou trois fruits frais, par exemple des bananes; préparer des œufs frais chaque matin; proposer du pain du jour provenant d’une boulangerie de Québec; et mettre en valeur de bons fromages québécois ou d’autres produits du terroir. Cela améliorerait grandement l’expérience des clients

Don' overlook this Quebec City gem
Pros:

The location was great in old Quebec, just minutes from cafes and restaurants. My room was comfortable with plenty of storage space. The breakfast was good. All the staff I met were friendly and helpful. It was good having the breakfast room/lounge open until night to have somewhere to relax. Although there are front steps, there is a rear accessible door which was very handy. I'd return to Vieux Manoir when coming back to the city

Cons:

Minor point - they had no decaffeinated coffee in the machine at breakfast so afterwards I had to use pods in my room for a hot drink (luckily reception gave me extra pods)

Le staff est vraiment exceptionnel, incroyable et bravissimo! Idéalement placé, très bien équipé, confortable!

Cons:

Le petit déjeuner est le seul défaut : produits de faible qualité , peu de variété. C'est totalement incompréhensible qu'un établissement aussi exceptionnel par ailleurs ne puisse offrir un vrai petit déjeuner de qualité et healthy
