book for. no toilet fan, no windows, I feel
like sleeping in the bathroom!.

Nice little hotel away from the heart of the tourist district but still easily assessable

On a payé pour 3 nuits, on est resté 1 nuit...mes enfants n'ont pas pu dormir car ils avaient peur que les insectes leur montent dessus dans la nuit.

Good location, near market and inly 50.000 vnd taxi to airport. You can find lot of cheap and delicous restaurant in the area.

Not convenient to all the places. Stay at this hotel will be lesser place to shop.

Perfect for what we needed for 1 night before we had to catch a plane early morning.

Didn't make up the room. No water supplies. No soap.

We stayed in Thanh Hong hotel for 4 nights and overall our stay was okay but there were many minuses and I wouldnt go to the same hotel again. First of all the staff was unfriendly, no one ever greeted us. Then the neighbourhood wasnt that nice at all, there was nothing to do and the city center was quite far away. For example it was really hard to stay late in the city center because in the evening it was hard to get back to the hotel. The pillows were awful in the rooms. And then there was this construction work going on in the street so it was really noisy especially in the mornings.

good for the one night layover

This hotel was very cheap, 3 adults £14.00 one night. The room was big and it had 2 double beds and an en suite bathroom . we chose it because it is close to the airport, we arrived late and left early the next day for another flight.we just needed somewhere to crash and wash. For the money it was as expected,and it was quiet, however there was no window and the room smelt very musty due to poor drainage in the bathroom.

Really good hotel

Myror i rummet och i sängen. Luktar inpyrd rök i korridorer och rummet. ACn var bra, sängen var helt okej, sov dock i våra reselakan. Låg på någon märklig bakgata långt ifrån centrum. Personalen var dock trevlig och hjälpsam!

The staff here were great! They spoke English and were able to suggests and book tours for us.

Pros: close to Tan Son Nhat International airport (10 min. by taxi for the cost of VND$60,000-80,000 equivalent to US$3.00-4.00) and 20-30 min. to downtown HCM city US$5.00-6.00 depending on traffic. Alternatively, you can download Grab app for Android or Apple users (3 modes of transport: bike, taxi or car) to get a better deal, much cheaper with Grab discount or free trips than normal transportation mode. Rooms are spacious. You'd better asked receptionists to confirm with your booking. They are happy to change rooms provided that vacant rooms available without extra charges. Unfortunately, 4 of the receptionists I met could not speak English. Rooms on Level 1 were much quieter than other levels. Try not to pick Level 2, 3 or 4 cause they are used for big local tour groups with children thus noise are unvoidable if you need to sleep in after a hard night out. Bad things are some Level 1 rooms do have unbearable foul smell coming from in-room toilet. I had to talk to the receptionist to do something about it so that I ended up to have a room on Level 3. Strong Wifi signals on all levels for internet surfers. Clean towels and bedspread everyday thanks to hotel staff cleaners. Thank you. Street foods and local restaurants are just out of hotel doorsteps. Vinmax (formerly Maximark) shopping center is just 7 mins by foot and Tan Binh district International Exihition Center nearby. Hotel level 5 has massage therapy and restaurant on level 6 but I did not try them.

Cons: all rooms are fully furnished but showing age and rundown. Bath tub on level 3 room was unstable and not held in place as it should be. You may find foul smell inside your room. Not good for anyone to enjoy a late night out or if you really are an night owl because some receptionists would close up hotel around midnight, after that time you have to wake them up to let you in. Hotel does not organise attractions or tour group like others in De Tham Street or Pham Ngu Lao Street in District 1. Do it your self is the best thing for adventurists or country-life lovers and you can find better deals on the internet.

Overall, in my humble opinions this hotel is more like a budget hotel or a lodge than an overrated 2-star one. Good security and housekeeping maintenance but it's not enough to cover its age and dated. You get what you pay for. OK for a quick and short stay not for a week or two. It's your call.
