Great location, but older building, almost non existent staff. Good luck if you need any assistance during your stay.
Pros:

Location. Literally behind Frontenac hotel.

Cons:

Older building, no elevators and steep stairs. No attendance at the reception desk between 7pm and 8ish am. Not sure what the procedure is if you need any help/assistance.

Disappointing. Misrepresented by pictures. Not worth the cost.
Pros:

The location is undeniably excellent. Directly behind the Chateau Frontenac and easy walking distance to everywhere in old Quebec City.

Cons:

Extremely run down and uncared for. Floors in the room were damaged from damp and the furniture was a mismatch of old flea market finds - not quaint, just dated. My husband had to fix the shower door that had come off its track and even then it’s so small you had to turn off the water to wash and then turn it on again to rinse. The shower nozzle didn’t move and only pointed above and past your head. The rear window of the room looked out into a fire escape that was full of junk and run down. The chair on the balcony was broken, and the floors pealing. Even the flags (Canadian and Fleurdelisé) hanging above were ripped and tattered.

At least it was clean but not at all what we expected.
Pros:

The location was excellent. It was clean and the bed was comfortable

Cons:

The room didn’t look anything like the pictures. The shower was so small you couldn’t raise your hands over your head to wash your hair. The bathroom fan was very loud. Everything in the room was worn, especially the floor. We only saw the staff one time in a week. We could hear every person who went up and down the four floors.

Great place to be in Quebec
Pros:

The location is excellent. It is right beside the chateau. Walking distance to restaurants and stores. The room was very clean

Cons:

The room needs some improvement, specially in the bathroom. It looks old and the toillette was veru slow to release.

We had a good time-- except for the rain
Pros:

Location was excellent. However, very old building so no elevator, phone booth sized shower, and limited storage.

Cons:

Given the age of the building, and location, nothing could be improved. If you want updated and restaurant in the building, pay $150 more a night

If you like old Qubec, just live in
Pros:

It was my first time staying in an old house, and I was quite excited to be in the attic. This small hotel is right next to Château Frontenac.

Cons:

cannot cook simple breakfast, even they have a living/dinning room. no lift

Emplacement génial mais hôtel laisser à l’abandon.
Pros:

Personnel accueillant, bon emplacement, facile d’accès. Les chambres sont grandes.

Cons:

Literie vraiment pas confortable mais surtout qui fait beaucoup de bruit. Pas de fenêtre qui s’ouvre. Des insectes morts, des cheveux et poils dans la salle de bain + de drôles de tache sur le plafond et sur le sofa. Porte de la douche qui se ferme pas.

Cons:

Ma mère et moi sommes énormément déçues. Pas de garde robe, pas de poubelle. Pas d'ascenseur et bcp d'escaliers et très sales. La salle de bain n'est pas très propre. Il y avait un tas de cheveux au sol. L'air climatisée au-dessus d'un des lits. La moisissure aux fenêtres et très sales. Les images sur booking que nous avions de nos chambres ne correspondent pas à la réalité. Nous avons payé 300$ et nous ne sommes vraiment pas satisfaites. Le lit fait du bruit en plus. Bref très mauvaise expérience.
