Pros:

Très bien placé au début de jonker street.
Hotel désuet sans charme particulier escaliers raides.
Calme malgré l'activité autour si vous avez une chambre à l'arrière.

Cons:

Mérite quelques rafraîchissement dans les chambres.

Oke for a night but don't expect a <boutique> Hotel
Pros:

Well located at Jonker Walk.
Friendly owner.

Cons:

Hotel is old and in a rather doggy state.
Bed is very hard.
Rooms are small and you don't get any view.

Mistake of a booking
Pros:

I didn't like anything about the property. I came with my family and decided that this place was not for us. So I booked another hotel, and left, after 10 minutes of stay. The pictures of the rooms on Booking.com is not what I saw. Did I step into the wrong hotel?

Cons:

Busy part of the area, had slight trouble locating the car parking area, and getting in. No lift, so if you have luggages, just be warned. No one to help with the luggages. Reception did not understand English, so slow check in. Card for the room did not work, so ended up getting the mastercard to open our room. Best decision I made was to leave.

Fijn hotel op goede locatie. Restaurant beneden is meerwaarde. Gezellig om te ontbijten en 's avonds wat te eten.

Cons:

Ontbijt viel wat tegen, meer Aziatisch gericht. In het restaurant beneden kun je voor weinig geld lekker ontbijten.

A real gem in the heart of Malacca
Pros:

Lovely room, good bed, shower, air con, WiFi and everything very comfortable. Staff were fantastic, we arrived late as we had a late flight but they waited for us no problem. This time we only stayed one night but I would stay here again for longer.

Cons:

Not a problem for us as it wasn’t noisy but you are in the heart of Malacca here. Saturday night is the night market and the road is closed so taxis cannot enter. Just to be aware of this if you are arriving then. Also note there is no lift in this hotel.

Great Short Stay
Pros:

Location is great and directly accessible to night market. Car park lot is available behind the hotel and the eatery linked to the hotel has good coffee and kaya toast breakfast.

Cons:

It's a bit noisy as a stage performance is just outside. No issue if you are out, but not possible to take a afternoon nap when rehearsals are on-going. Nonslip mat is not clean and we didn't use it at all. Need to be careful during shower.

Pros:

The room was spacious and even though facing the entrance to Jonker Street it was not really noisy (as stated in other reviews), especially at night. WiFi was working well and the bed was huge. The hotel is conveniently located directly at the old town's entrance with many shops and restaurants around. A walk to the river takes less than 10 minutes and you can reach Melaka Sentral bus station within 10-15 minutes using Grab.

Cons:

Especially the bathroom was a little run-down and moldy and on the last day of our stay there was practically no water pressure (but electricity was working so no power outage). Also there was no possibility of having breakfast at the hotel and also the staff was not very helpful (we wanted to order a taxi to the bus station and the staff told us just to use Grab).
