The room could be more comfortable. The doors to the bathroom and toilet were glass and partially transparent, which was not very convenient. The bathroom was a bit narrow.

Cons:

The room was clean and the heating worked, which was great. The best thing about this hotel was the location and the staff. Great service and very helpful and kind people. They checked us in before check-in time, organized excursions to nearby islands, and were super nice the whole time. I would stay there again, not because of the room, but because of the location of the hotel and the service.

If you want a complete Venetian experience, staying in this hotel will help.
Pros:

Perfect location, an hour from the airport by water bus. It’s 5 minutes walk from the main sights you’d like to see.
The property and staff were amazing for our short stay (2 nights). We didn’t have breakfast there but it looked great.

Cons:

It’s a little noisy in the morning as people set up their shops, bars and businesses. It’s only a minor thing though.
The whole area is fantastic so locals preparing their day is a small thing to worry about.

*nothing to do with the hotel but the airport is chaos. Very little help, lots of confusion, please give yourself enough time when leaving. We gave ourselves 2hrs 45minutes and got the plane 15 minutes before take off.

The location.

Cons:

The room layout so no privacy in the shower , why the non opaque frame round the opaque door? Also no privacy when using the toilet as the door didn't seal the room properly as there was a gap. I couldn't get the aircon to work or the safe which I did mention but it was never fixed.
