It was clean and tidy

Cons:

It was a little bit of an older building which really showed in the bathroom and the areas homeless community congregated across the road in the park at all hours although I parked my car at the back and felt safe enough during my stay

Keep it as last option
Pros:

Location , staff and value for money

Cons:

There is no lift and we did not know this at the time of booking, after coming from a hectic flight climing to level 4 was just impossible with bad knees , luckily the staff was able to give us a room at level 1 else we would have not have stayed at all.

There was no water bottle (drinking) provided, no vending machine at the hotel with water.

Convenient for access to inner city. But it’s cheap(er) for a reason! Facilities are dated and noise may be an issue for

Cheap. You get what you pay for.

Cons:

Aircon unit was like a jet engine all night. Ear plugs required if you want to stay cool and sleep at the same time.

SOHO Brisbane 👍
Pros:

The location was perfect. We could walk to places rather than have to Uber.
The room was slightly outdated with wear and tear aesthetically but it was clean, bed was comfy and we had everything we needed

Cons:

I found the staff at the hotel next door pretty abrupt and not friendly or engaging. We had to go there after checkout to order our taxi to the airport

Nice stay with a view in Brisbane
Pros:

It wasn’t too far of a walk to the center, with easy parking and check-in. The rooms are clean and comfortable.

Cons:

The room is a tad small, so it was hard to open up our two big suitcases.
