Construction of the lobby and pool area
Pros:

The hotel is being renovated right now, pool is not open, check in is at a different room, room is clean tho, lobby is full of construction materials. Room rates should’ve been hugely discounted while construction is being done.

Not up to IHG standards
Pros:

Our stay was disappointing overall, despite a welcoming and efficient check-in.

While the website notes that the hotel is under renovation, the condition of the property was far more worn and dated than the photos on their website suggest. Our room felt very tired and, unfortunately, was extremely noisy.

I had specifically requested a top-floor room away from the elevator in hopes of having a quiet night. We were not given a top-floor room, and we spent most of the night listening to loud thumping and bumping from the room above us. We could not tell whether the noise was related to renovation work or other guests, but either way, it made it nearly impossible to sleep. We ultimately left at 5:00 a.m. because we were unable to get any rest.

Guests should also be aware that there are no coffee makers provided in the rooms. Coffee is only available downstairs from a shared machine, which could easily lead to long lines and frustration during the morning rush.

In addition, I was disappointed by the unfriendly greeting from the breakfast attendant when I briefly entered the dining area to get a cup of coffee before leaving. There was also no one present at the front desk when I attempted to check out.
Hopefully the renovation will be completed soon, but I recommend calling the hotel directly before booking to confirm that you can be assigned a room that reflects IHG standards. Unfortunately, ours did not.

It was great!
Pros:

Staff was great. Asked for some recommendations to restaurants in the area and things to do. They were honest and helpful.

Cons:

Room had a few minor things that come with normal wear that could be updated but not enough that I wouldn't stay again.
