One thing that made it a super horrible experience. Clarity and Cooperation.
Pros:

Nothing really. We were charged for a half board and upon disclosure (which should've been upon booking about Halal food) niether we were refunded our cost for breakfast and dinner, nor we were given halal food. Horrible to say the least!

Cons:

Least cooperative behavior especially when the hotel has realised that we've paid for meals but can't have them (being halal only requirement), we should've been given the cost of meals refunded. It didn't happen and even upon our request, it was rejected.
