The property was very clean!

I stayed at the Hyatt recently with my team and I was more than impressed. The staff made sure we had absolutely everything we needed and was more than accommodating. Would absolutely recommend this hotel to anyone!

I was very pleased with my stay. The staff was pleasant and inviting. We were in town for a business trip so we were thrilled that the accommodations were comfortable and exceeded our expectations.

Location and breakfast

I'm almost at a loss for words! Whoever built this hotel in the location they choose should get a gold medal! There's an Aldi, two restaurants that share the parking lot and shopping center close by. It's quiet, very clean and inviting. The staff, outstanding, friendly and so helpful. Shout out to the breakfast team. Top notch! Homemade breakfast casseroles, abundant fresh fruit, excellent coffee. Oh my! Rasheen, the food and beverage director really shines along with Chef Dianne, breakfast attendants, Country (great name) and Alejandra. We stayed in corner room 429. A very subtle, pleasant aroma of soft vanilla scented our room. There is nothing to complain about. Only positive vibes coming from the staff and kudos to the lucky owner. Gold medals to all!

Hyatt Place Durham/Southpoint was a great stop on our road trip and worked perfectly as a home base for visiting Duke University and exploring other North Carolina cities. The location is super convenient, easy access to the main roads and highways, so getting to campus, downtown Durham, Chapel Hill, and even Raleigh didn’t feel like a hassle. Check-in was smooth, and the hotel's overall vibe was clean, modern, and comfortable, exactly what you want after a long day of driving or sightseeing. Our room was spacious and well laid out, with a comfortable bed and enough room to relax, unpack, and recharge for the next day. Since we stayed in Valentine's Day, the hotel is crowded in party which created noise and inconvenience to our family during the stay. It was also nice being close to shopping and plenty of food options around Southpoint, which made grabbing dinner or coffee quick and easy.

Clean hotel, quiet rooms, excellent complimentary breakfast, super friendly staff. Desk area was perfect and room was very spacious. Bar on-site and walkable to 2 restaurants and grocery store was very convenient.

Noel at the front desk went above and beyond to help make our stay special, Laura did an exceptional job organizing our room. The stay was great.

The staff was very courteous and helpful. At check in, the clerk was pleasant and addressed me as "Mr. H________" several times which was professional and appreciated. The room was spacious and very comfortable as was the bedding and multiple pillows. Really liked the walk in shower and sofa in the room. Breakfast was a nice surprise. It was far beyond many hotels in terms of food item offerings and quality. Overall, we had an excellent experience.
