We booked a suite for two nights and were travelling as a family with two children (one 7-year-old and one infant). What followed was one of the most stressful and unpleasant hotel experiences we have had.
On arrival, there was a constant water bubbling/flushing noise in the room, making it impossible to relax. After multiple complaints, we were told it was due to the swimming pool located directly above us (we were on the 17th floor, with the pool on the 18th). The noise stopped only after a couple of hours when they “shut down something,” which already set a poor tone for the stay.
The swimming pool was advertised as heated, but it was not heated at all, which was extremely disappointing for my child who was looking forward to using it. The jacuzzi, on the other hand, was unbearably hot, and staff claimed they were unable to adjust the temperature. Basic facilities were either misrepresented or poorly managed.
The most serious issue, however, happened on the day of checkout.
We checked out in the morning, settled the full bill, and placed our luggage in the hotel cloakroom. We then left for a full-day trip to Yas Island (SeaWorld) and returned to the hotel in the evening around 8:30 PM to collect our luggage before travelling onward to Dubai the same night.
While waiting in the reception area with our two children, I asked a waiter for drinking water. Despite repeated requests, I was ignored for over 10 minutes. I then approached the reception desk and requested water from a staff member (Indian-looking gentleman), clearly mentioning that:
we had already checked out,
we were waiting in the lobby,
and we had stayed in Room 1701 (which he acknowledged).
After another long wait, I was told that water had been “sent to the room.”
A few minutes later, I was told they cannot provide water at all. There was no apology and not even a courtesy glass of water. With an infant and a child, we were forced to step out to a nearby supermarket ourselves to buy water and food.
When we returned and asked to collect our luggage, we were suddenly told that there was a “problem” and were asked to go back to reception. Another staff member (white-looking gentleman) repeatedly ignored us, despite clearly seeing that we were travelling with children and had luggage pending.
Eventually, we were informed that there was a small apple-juice stain on the sofa and were refused our luggage unless we paid 500 AED, after which they offered a so-called “20% discount.” We were also told that the room was “not occupied today.”
At this point, we were under extreme pressure:
travelling with two children (including an infant),
already checked out,
luggage being withheld,
and needing to leave for Dubai the same night.
With no practical choice left, we paid the amount and were then handed our luggage.
What made this situation feel extremely disturbing and suspicious was the clear contradiction:
Earlier, staff claimed water had been sent to Room 1701,
Later, they stated that the room was not occupied.
So which version was true?
It felt like taking advantage of a vulnerable situation, knowing we were travelling with children and had no time or energy to argue. We tolerated prolonged noise issues, misrepresented facilities, and inconvenience, but a minor juice spill was used to withhold our luggage until payment was forced.
This stay left us feeling stressed, helpless, and deeply uncomfortable. I would strongly advise families—especially those travelling with children—to be extremely cautious. The behaviour of certain front-desk and service staff was unacceptable and highly unprofessional.
Amazing location Corncihe Abu Dhabi nearby as well as Abu Dhabi Mall, Cultural Discrict Saadiyat Island with all Museums Le Louvre Abu dhabi Natural Museum Abrahamic Family house, Sheikh Zayed Museum and soon Guggenheim 15 minuts by car.

Musi, Susan, the Starbucks guy and the Filipino staff's are incredibly accommodating and very friendly . The food is also very delicious. It’s a great hotel to stay at and highly recommended.
We reached here on Saturday afternoon. Checkin was very smooth. They gave us room towards Corniche beach which was very beautiful view. We were here for two nights. Surrounding area has nice restaurants and malls. We could even find an Indian restaurant near by
We didnt try breakfast there. It was additional cost. We tried ala karte and ordered pizza which was not that great

Overall nice hotel. I also recommend that go to the swimming area on top floor to see the beautiful corniche beach
I booked a stay at Ramada by Wyndham Abu Dhabi Corniche and called the hotel to confirm an early check-in due to my 1am arrival. I was explicitly told by a staff member that booking from the Tuesday would be fine, so I adjusted my booking based on that guidance.
After this, upon emailing the hotel, they claimed that no such confirmation was given. They said I had to book to check-in on the Monday and kept persisting that I was mistaken. This miscommunication, caused entirely by the hotel staff, left me frustrated, stressed, and extremely disappointed, especially as my trip was approaching within 3-4 weeks. Even after raising a formal complaint, the responses failed to take responsibility and incorrectly suggested I check with my travel agency.
The lack of accountability and poor handling of the situation does not reflect the level of hospitality one would expect. The stress and frustration caused by this experience were completely avoidable and left me as an unhappy guest.
I genuinely thought they were making an expectation as it was my birthday. I was wrong.
I have decided to cancel my whole reservation and stay somewhere with better service. I'd rather may more money than stay here.
Regarding Lemon lounge restaurant,
The only complaint I have , food was so good that I ate more than my limit.

We stayed for one night for a special occasion this was our second visit to the hotel.
I had originally booked an ocean-view room, but they mentioned that we were given a free upgrade. However, I didn’t see any upgrade, and the room didn’t have a proper ocean view.
Secondly, I called the hotel reception to confirm the complimentary birthday setup. One staff member answered the call and gave me a WhatsApp number, saying that the person in charge of such arrangements could assist me. I agreed and sent two messages to that number, but received no response.
After two days, I called the hotel again around 1:30 p.m. A lady answered, and I requested the birthday setup once more. She said she would add a comment to the booking. I confirmed with her three times, and she assured me it would be added. However, when my partner checked into the room, nothing was done. It completely spoiled the excitement.
It is the worst place to stay.. my booking was 14 days and paid everything in advance, but due to everyday issue with services and facilities specially the room that is not sound proof!!! Like you can here the people on the next room or in the corridor, terrible parking service, plus house keeping always forgot to leave towels.. staffs that are totally not accommodating, dirty water in the swimming pool.. and the manager, begging me to stay as i decided to checkout 3 days before my last day as I can’t sleep at all i can hear the people talking in my room.. she was asking me to stay. I refuse.. and she promised to return back the money for the rest of the days i didn’t use.. and till now 5 days now.. everyday im calling about it.. and all the time call back the next day, manager is aware, you will get it once accouning department is open.. but everyday.. so if your planning to stay in this hotel, better see other options.. cause you will end up not sleeping at night, you will be late for work or anywhere as getting your car will take 20-30 minutes.. plus access card its 90% of the time not working..

I want to thank the Egyptian lady Fatima for giving us a free upgrade and smooth check in. The concierge staff and bell boys were very good too.
The suite was nice and spacious, but the kitchen was very basic and looked very makeshift. No cutlery, plates or pans so none functional - the hotel services such a steam room, was not working properly, pool is open at strange times - 9-2 and then 4-6, jacuzzi wasn’t warm enough - towels provided smelt funny. Upstairs roof looks very cowboy built and has seen better days.
Ramada just isn’t what it used to be, luckily they have very good staff to keep up their reputation but otherwise not up to a 4 star they claim

I had an amazing breakfast. They offer a wide variety of things to eat ( both salty and sweet) and the staff id super helpfull! Lua helped me with everything I needed.
