I wish I could give zero stars to this hotel. Last minute cancellation and offer to move us from their 5* to a 4* hotel with no compensation or discounts whatsoever. Customer service again zero skills. I have never been treated like this and have been travelling forever. Disappointed and disgusted. If you want a smooth trip DO NOT book this hotel

All the staff at the hotel were absolutely amazing! Especially the members of the front desk—thank you for giving me such a wonderful experience. I chose to stay there to celebrate my birthday, and they even prepared a brownie for me to celebrate! That was really thoughtful.
I feel so grateful 💕 I’ll definitely visit Porto again next time.

Btw, the mattress was so comfortable! I had a nice sleep.

Die Räumlichkeiten ins Hotel. Nettes Personal, wurde uns Willkommen und Abschiedgetränk angeboten, sehr nette Geste. Die Lage des Hotels fand ich auch sehr gut, zentral zu Fuss das Zentrum zu erreichen.

Beautiful hotel, very friendly staff, impeccable cleanliness and tasteful decoration. Enjoyable breakfast with fresh ingredients, and complimentary drinks. Very comfortable bedding in huge bedroom, large generously equipped bathroom, with a large bath. The restaurant garden is very relaxing, with comfortable reception, bar and break-out areas for guests. We just discovered the lovely(secret) garden as we were checking out.

The hotel breathed the opulence of a bygone era—its generous proportions, elegant décor, and refined atmosphere all contributed to the feeling. The room was comfortably sized, and the bed felt divine. Two windows offered a pleasant view of Porto, glowing in the day’s final rays of sunlight.
The bathroom was stocked with toiletries one could only wish to enjoy all the time. A retro telephone felt perfectly at home, while a yellow tulip added a charming touch. The coffee machine worked flawlessly; the minibar did not, but this was of no consequence as I didn’t use it.
The complimentary welcome glass of Port wine was delicious, and the free bottle of water proved genuinely useful. Although a few bathroom tiles showed signs of age, they did nothing to detract from the overall experience. Highly recommended.

The staff were amazing with any requests. The rooms are very comfortable and the hotel area is amazing to explore.

most of the staff are very friendly and helpful. The breakfast is very good, but they run out of food quickly and do not replenish unless requested.

The room was spacious and clean and well equipped. The yellow tulip added a touch of luxury. The best was the bed — it was very comfortable and the bedsheets of the finest quality. My room had two windows which offered a wonderful view of sun-lit Porto in the afternoon. The free glass of porto wine at the bar made a big difference. All the staff I met were courteous. There was also a complimentary sealed glass bottle of water.

The accommodation was amazing, the room looked amazing and the amenities were great; the staff was very polite, helpful and very nice. The location is also good as it is close to metro and city centre. The only downside would be the breakfast, it is a la carte and you need to wait a bit for it and it is quite small, so this could be improved.
