Pros:

The hotel was simple and nice, great value for money. Daniel and his colleagues were lovely. I loved the location and the view of the lake. The restaurant at the top was very nice too.

Pros:

1. el gerente y la recepcionista muy amables
2. me cambiaron el colchon para uno mas blando

1. Lejos del centro.

2. El colchón es demasiado duro ( lo cambiaron)

3. El inodoro y la ducha están agrietados.

4. No hay silencio en la habitación. Se oyen todas las conversaciones de la cocina compartida.

5. No hay aire acondicionado en la habitación.

6. No hay heladera en la habitación.

7. No hay caja fuerte en la habitación.

8. El inodoro hace un ruido como si se estuviera vaciando (glu glu glu), un ruido fuerte que interrumpe el sueño.

9. Se oye el agua de la ducha de otra habitación, lo cual es desagradable y molesto.

10. Debido a que el lago Atitlán tiene poca agua, se ven muchas algas y vegetación, y cuando no se seca al sol, huele mal.

11. La vista al lago no es tan impresionante como uno esperaría desde un balcón.

12. Los alrededores hay valdiis y terrenos sucios y descuidados, algunos vacíos o en construcción.

13. El hotel se siente bastante solitario al no haber mucha gente.

14. Por la noche, las luces de los pasillos están apagadas; el ambiente es triste y de abandono.

15. La ultima noche me salto una araña y otro bicho durante la noche me desperte asustada.

The best hotel we stayed at in 20 days in central america.
Pros:

The Hotel has beautiful views to the lake and spacious areas to hangout outside. The rooms are clean and spacious and so were the bathrooms and the common spaces. The location was perfect. Being in the most “party” city in the lake it is in a very chill and quiet area with lots of good places to eat and we felt pretty safe walking there at night. It’s still 10 min by foot to the center and the boats.

Cons:

There was a power outage the last day, which wasn’t the property fault but it was a bit annoying as we couldn’t shower.

Maravillosa ubicación
Pros:

La ubicación excepcional. Un gran acierto elegir este hotel. Las vistas al lago y los pueblos son maravillosas. El hotel está bien cuidado, y el entorno también. Hay un restaurante en la terraza superior con una buena carta

Het restaurant op het dakterras met ruime porties en fantastisch uitzicht

Cons:

De kamer voor drie personen was erg klein, met nauwelijks ruimte voor bagage. De ventilator maakte ontzettend veel lawaai; het voelde bijna alsof we naast een vliegtuigmotor sliepen.

Ook de badkamer viel tegen. De douche sproeide de hele badkamer nat en we kregen het water niet echt warm. Mogelijk hebben we niet goed uitgelegd gekregen hoe dit werkte.

Pros:

Super hôtel ! Très bonne localisation, à 10min à pieds de la rue principale et de l’embarcadère, permet un environnement plus calme. Très belle entrée et surtout terrasse avec une vue imprenable.

Cons:

Salle de bain sent très mauvais les égouts.
Personnel pourrait être plus accueillant.

Nice views, quiet location in an old budget hotel
Pros:

Liked the kitchen ( though it needed a good clean ), liked the views of the lake, liked the restaurant on site, and liked the cats.

Cons:

Some of the staff were unfriendly ( didn't want to show us the room before we paid). Be prepared for it to be very budget, and somewhat run down.
