Very safe, clean and close to beach and shopping. Nice small pool just right for a small family. Very friendly owner and staff. Owner was VERY helpful and speaks excellent English. Recommend highly for a short stay near everything 👍👍

Très mauvaise nuit dans cet hôtel. WC bouchés, douche insalubre avec cafard. Une odeur nauséabonde dans la chambre. Des puces de lit.
Côté cuisine... Frigo en panne...

Property was easy relatively easy to find. We drove from the SJO airport. Does have air conditioner which was very necessary as it was about 100F heat index. I did not use the TV. Wifi connection was spotty. Place was quite noisy. People living on the property play their music loudly in the evening. Loud talking and laughing. Property was also right off the main road. Truck traffic added to the noise. I did not use the pool. Close to ferry. Have to operate a heavy iron gate to get car into parking area. Basic room.

Get you through the night, no more.
Pros:

Think “Bare Minimum” we needed a spot to stay because we missed the last ferry. The staff was friendly but the rooms were closer to a run down hostel than any kind of hotel. Will get you through the night, but not a place you expect for an extended stay.

El peor hotel del mundo.

En general fue terrible. mi pareja y yo fuimos a descansar pero ahí eso es imposible. no hay respeto por el reposo de nadie, por que durante toda la noche clientes tomando licor y hablando por raros y gritando en otros y nadie del personal les dijo que había gente durmiendo y debían respetar eso.
la habitación que nos diera estaba junto a la recepción y durante toda la noche movían sillones que sonaban super fuerte y en nuestros oídos por lo que me enoje a las 3 de la madrugada por que no nos dejaban dormir y golpee la pared en señal de protesta por lo que los ruidos dentro de la recepción cesaron pero no así los de los borrachos que estaban frente a nuestra habitación. en fin a las 4 de la madrugada dejaron de hacer escándalo y fue cuando. pudimos dormir pero solo un rato por que debíamos irnos a las 6 de la mañana.
no. recomendamos este hotel por que el irrespeto al cliente parece ser su prioridad.

Overpriced Dump
Pros:

If you like giant cockroaches and lizards as your bed mates, this is your kind of place. The toilet had to be flushed several times, you could only access the WIFI if you stepped outside into the patio/parking lot, and the coffee filter still had the grains from the last unfortunate soul who stayed in this room. The fact the office was closed and the gates shut tight at 7 pm with no sign of any other guests was warning enough, I guess, that you were about to pass the gates into Dante's Inferno. At least the air conditioning worked but there was otherwise little value for the exorbitant rate charged for a single.
