Wonderful room and location
Pros:

The resort is lovely and the staff was friendly and helpful. Lots of shops and restaurants around the resort. The room was very comfortable. One note is that Hotels.com calls it "Heavenly Village Condos" but the building is branded as Marriott (and there is one on either side of gondolas) so it was hard to find the right place.

This was our first time staying here and it was so nice. Love the hotel and the surrounding area. Staff always greeted us and thanked us for staying there. It’s a beautiful hotel. Can’t wait to go back and stay there!

This is a Marriott property and the standards are usually high. We were very disappointed that for our stay the pool and BBQ areas were closed due to construction. We were not notified in advance and overall our cost per night including the cleaning fee at check out was over %
$500/night for their smallest room, a studio. Thank goodness the daily parking fee was included and we didn't have to cover that too. We are Marriott timeshare owners and when we asked if we could have a pass to use the pool at the Marriott property across from The Grand Residence, we were told no due to the volume of guests staying at The Timberlodge that weekend. Ironically, we know exactly how occupied the Timberlodge was because we stayed there for 7-nights before checking in at The Grand Residence. Communication could have been better. I will never rent through Heavenly Village Condos through Expedia again. I will stick with AirBnB and avoid the cleaning fee which is ridiculous.

It would have been ideal if we would have been informed the pool and the hot tub were closed for repairs and renovation. Otherwise a great stay!

We like the location, kitchenettes and pool/fitness. Our room faced a busy street and was very noisy at night. We have stayed at this property many times, but this experience was a little disappointing. The room was very small, tired looking, the pillows are very uncomfortable and the coffee maker was difficult to work and my coffee was like warm. Also, we learned that the Grand Residences voted to not offer daily activities except a few fitness related items and they do offer them at Timber Lodge but aren’t shared between both.

We enjoyed the stay at the Marriot facilities. My son had fun in the pool. The staff was very kind and accommodating. From the initial interaction with Valet to the front desk and cleaning staff, everyone made you feel welcomed with friendly greetings and a desire to make sure you were enjoying your stay.

Pros:

What a great property. We rented a condo for six days in heavenly Village and it was amazing. Able to walk everywhere barely used our car. Cute kitchen to cook in if I wanted to beds were comfortable just an overall great experience. We would definitely go back again.

Marriott Resort Lake Tahoe a beautiful destinatio!
Pros:

Beautiful resort, valet parking at no extra charge, nice pool and plenty of pool lounges, bars, restaurants, a d shopping within walking distance as well as an easy walk to the concert venue at Caesars. Serenity Spa was top notch for a massage!
