This hotel genuinely saved our trip to Montepulciano!
We had originally booked Palazzo Nobile di San Donato, but unfortunately we had such a terrible experience there that rooms are like horror film and couldn’t sleep at all. The staff were extremely rude to us and were shouting at us, which made the whole experience very stressful and upsetting.
We left and booked this hotel instead, and the difference was unbelievable. We arrived at around 10am, exhausted after the previous night, and the owner was incredibly kind and allowed us to check in so early. We were so grateful — it immediately made us feel welcome and looked after.
Everything here was so much better. The room was much cleaner and more comfortable, the staff were sooooo much nicer, and the breakfast was 100% better! Most importantly, everyone treated us with genuine kindness and hospitality. We could finally relax and enjoy our holiday again.
It honestly felt like this hotel brought our trip back to happy life after such an awful start. If you are deciding where to stay in Montepulciano, definitely book this hotel. We only wish we had booked it from the beginning!

Ottima posizione, la struttura è completamente ristrutturata da poco. Suggestivo per la sua storia. Tutto arredato con ottimo gusto in stile ottocentesco. La colazione abbondante e con servizio al tavolo.
Wonderful location, charming property with amazing heritage and a lift, great hosts - you can’t find a better location to base your visit to this wonderful town. We were very lucky and had views of Val d’Orcia.
Being ultra critical, the in-room hair dryer wasn’t very effective. Overall a great experience .

The staff was very kind, the room was very nice with a terrace, we had everything we needed, including parking place of the hotel.
