good enough
Pros:

The room was large and spacious and accommodated the two of us nicely with two rooms and two bathrooms. The view was nice and the pool was really good.

Cons:

There was an awful smell in the room that kept giving me a headache - we aired it out quite a bit but it was like an incense/cooking smell that wouldn't go away. It also could do with a thorough deep clean of the apartment.

Family friendly unit
Pros:

We had very limited time in that unit so we were not able to enjoy the pool. Otherwise we enjoyed our stay in the unit because of the space and the two separate bathrooms

Cons:

Cant say much because we only stayed for few hours before checking out again in the morning.

Comfortable, good base for a holiday
Pros:

Great location, had everything we needed but it needed some updating.

Cons:

Confusing to initially get into the property. There are different codes for different areas. Once we got our keys and could come in through the basement it was easier

We would recommend if they gave the apartments a really good deep clean and did some maintenance work.
Pros:

Good location, walking distance to restaurants. Nice pool. Large apartments

Cons:

We booked two apartments and both had things wrong. No tea towels, no washing detergent. The door in the three bedroom apartment bathroom would just lock and you had to use a knife to get in. There were dishes in the dishwasher when we arrived.
The two bedroom apartment bathroom door was not cleaned, had mud or something splattered up it. Ensuite towel rail was falling off. It wasn’t a very clean apartment. Also had no tea towel.
The cushions were not cleaned, covered in stains. Both apartments needed a really good deep clean.

Pros:

Location on the Esplanade at North Cairns. Could walk down foreshore towards CBD from front door.
Apartment included clothes washer and dryer, full kitchen including dishwasher, 2nd bedroom and front yard.
Car park had 2.05m clearance and parking spot was allocated to each unit.
Friendly help from Manager Min and facilities guru Luke.
Just outstanding.

The apartment block is getting a bit on but is on the whole clean and quiet.
Pros:

The gentleman at reception was exceptional. We have stayed in many places, this stay was to be in the one apartment for 5 nights but due to issues with the first apartment we had to move to another. We then had no hot water in the second so had to move to a 3rd. None of this was an issue with reception. We have never had to ask for a move any other time in our travels.
The apartments are clean and fairly well equipped for cooking. Good size fridges, varying sizes in TVs and how smart they are. Two out of the three rooms had smart TV's. The location is a fairway from the town centre, which is what we wanted, so if you need to walk to get grocery's or meals, it is a decent walk back.

Cons:

Our first room was #6 on the ground floor. As soon as we walked in we noticed a very unpleasant smell. We turned the fans and air conditioners on and went for a walk (the long one to the centre), had a bite to eat, walked back and that smell was still there (mold smell). We then ordered via Uber (due to the distance to walk to Coles) some room oil diffusers, put those on until bed time but wasn't leaving them on over night. Well, that horrid smell woke us up at 4am and that was it, we could not stay in that room. Hence the great effort by the reception to move us. This is the room that had a very small, not smart TV. The other two apartments were great, no one could anticipate the hot water unit having a fault in the second one. Again, reception was great.

Clean and easy access

Cons:

Beds were hard and the springs were noisy, none of the controls worked . As we arrived on the weekend we had to buy batteries. Aircon in the main bedroom couldn’t be controlled. Didn’t like the different codes and keys
