Patong Mansion Hotel

This hotel is definitely the best hotel I stayed at while traveling. The staff was very welcoming. The cleaning was great. 10/10

Room was very basic and dark has window but another building on side of it so felt very costar phobic and not very comfortable. Staff were very helpful and nice.

Area of Patong isn’t far from all shops and malls so good location.


Personally with my family or by myself wouldn’t stay again due to it not having any natural light and very dated. But for the price will be ok for someone for a quick stay.

Amazing place with amazing staff.

Room was an oven due to a faulty AC unit. We were baking in the room and couldn't sleep until the next day.

The next day the staff rudely asked us to vacate the room, we couldn't wake up due to the lack of sleep because of the hot room, they still called again and asked us to leave aggressively, so we did as instructed and left. Never going back there again.

The front desk workers were very nice and helpful. My room was larger than I expected. I appreciate the waters provided. The hotel works with a massage place across the street, which is one of the best priced places in Patong. Massage was great too. I never felt unsafe in the hotel or the area. There is a 7 Eleven one minute away, which is super convenient.

I have been booking hotel rooms with Hotel.com all over the world for many years and I have achieved the "Gold level" for doing so. For all my bookings, I rely a lot on the overall ratings and comments from customers. So when I saw the very good reviews on this hotel, this convinced me to book it. For once, the people who reviewed this hotel previously were wrong and misleading! This hotel is average at best and does not offer good value for the price it charges. By adding an additional $15-20 CAD you can have some amazing other hotels a lot closer to the beach. This hotel is in a bad location 20-25 min walk from the beach and you have to cross two significant busy thoroughfare to get to it. Hotel is clean though and the breakfast buffet is good. Friendly staff overall, especially Jimmy, who is an amazing gentleman. Room size is adequate but not much storage. Dated bathroom with good shower and water pressure but splashes everywhere. Firm beds. Very small roof-top pool but clean. No room to accommodate more than 4-5 people. Good WiFi.

We stayed there three nights and thought it was just “okay.” The pros: The room was clean, simple, nothing fancy. The water in the shower was hot. The location was great in easy access to the main areas of interest. The cons: The staff, with the exception of the night desk clerk was not overly friendly and didn’t go out of their way in any way, shape or form to make you feel welcome. We asked for towels and they couldn’t give us more than two—they had to come up and retrieve old towels before providing new. They allot only two towels to a room for two people—no more for any reason. The breakfast was just okay. We saw lots of ants and a large roach in the kitchen area. All in all I would recommend this hotel as an option for a good budget hotel. If you are looking for something a little more warm, homey and friendlier I would look elsewhere.

More like Patong Dump! This was the failure of my trip. Booked it based on reviews and price and it was a huge mistake. First off, avoid staying in Patong. This hotel is in an alley. Not the cleanest. Towels were stained. Smells. Breakfast buffet had ants. Bed was uncomfortable. Staff sucked! Some of them were super friendly but bad customer service. They try to rip you off with the taxi hotel. Also, recommended spa across hotel is theirs and it’s gross. Could hear the bathroom and the ladies speak loud - so not relaxing. Don’t stay there. There are so many better options in Phuket for good prices.

Great hotel. We loved our room and most of all the rooftop pool.
Breakfast was also good and renting a scooter from the hotel was easy and affordable.

Pros:
The property is in a great location. It is a 15 minute walk to Jungceylon for all your shopping needs, but is also right next to a great massage place, a 7/11 and some great food carts. There are also several laundry services available and also a laundromat if you are so inclined

The staff are really friendly and helpful, and the hotel is very clean. The breakfast is pretty good, but can get monotonous after a few days (as it would anywhere else).

Cons:
Beds are not the most comfortable. The first couple nights are ok, but after that, sleeping is difficult.

The rooftop pool is beautiful, but it has no shade whatsoever. Unless you are immune to the sun, sitting up on the lounge chairs in the middle of the day is pretty uncomfortable.
